Did he surpass his sensei?

By any chance guys is there any possibility that the MS Kakashi surpassed his sensei or he's equal now to him at some point... ? At least Kakashi knows how it works Minato's technique and he basically have to avoid a contact by Minato.

Nah Minato's still way stronger than him, in terms of speed Kakashi wouldn't be able hit him, also Minato was very intelligent, considered a once in a lifetime shinobi, plus Kakashi even stated that the only one who could surpass the fourth is Naruto.

The question should be more specific. Kakashi has probably surpassed him in intelligence/taijutsu/jutsu, but he'll never be able to match the overall speed of Minato.

In the same way that Naruto has surpassed Jiraiya, even though Jiraiya knew a boatload more jutsu/sealing/etc.

It's all in how you look at it, so you can make your own conclusion

nah..he cant teleport as fast as minato could..it is only fair to say naruto has surpassed his father...

+ kakashi couldn't teleport himself..his ability is exact same as obito's and (tobi) tried to suck in minato but minato was too fast

Kakashi abilties are a lot different then minato's. Minato is extremely skilled in taijutsu and jutsu analysing, Kakashi is as well, but i still don't think kakashi is on Minato's level. Even though Kakashi is one of my favorites.

Minato is stronger than Kakashi. Kakashi has more techniques, but Minato is faster and smarter.

Funny thing is that you said he surpassed Minato in Tai, inteligence and Nin, as those 3 things are Minato's specialties, considering that space-time Nin is most likely the ultimate nin and Rasengan is ultimate shape manipulation nin

-I feel like Kakashi has shown more skill than Minato in other fields excluding speed and sealing jutsu.

Minato in my book is only barely holding on to being strong b/c of his S/T jutsu and how easy it is for him to spam it in a fight.

IMO they are about the same level if not Kakashi is a little better.... But I am biased b/c of the fact that I am not a fan of Minato at all.

no not at all actually kakashi hasnt surpassed minato in taijutsu or any of the above

I think he has considering almost being Hokage.

he almost became hokage and tsunade is the hokage and still isnt on minsto level so even if kakashi was the hokage it dont change the fact that minato is on another level

Minato highly exceeds Kakashi in terms of speed , not only in Raw speed but you should add the fact that Minato has a Jikukan/Space-time jutsu in his arsenal ..

and let's face it , no matter how many powerful techniques Kakashi can pull off ..

Kakashi won't beat someone that he can't see or someone who is quick enough to the point that he is impossible to catch (of course if you have a Jikukan/Space-time jutsu yourself it's a whole different story then)

so as far as I'm concerned Kakashi can not beat Minato , i.e : he hasn't surpassed Minato .

, but I think that Kakashi can actually land a hit or two on Minato if he manages to figure out a strategy .. don't forget that Kakashi is one of the smartest shinobi , and this is proven throughout the series .

-You do know the picture you have of Kakashi(Young) vs Minato that happened in Kakashi Gaiden right. Kakashi a young teenager who just became a Jounin forced a high level jounin/Kage level ninja to use there best tech right. Both now elevate that young ninja to a grown ninja in there prime who is now a high level Jounin/Kage Level ninja. Kakashi can challenge Minato, and has surpassed him in different fields
