When Obito said that the rinne tensei was supposed to be for him was he referring to Madara. Madara said that he expected Nagato to resurrect him, and this is what he probably meant. My question is why was Obito shocked when Madara was in kabuto's coffin, he should have been happy that his origin plan could still succeed. However, do you guys think Madara is neccesary to complete the moons eye plan? Considering the fact that Obito was going to go ahead with it without Kabout and edo tensei.

Nah I doubt it, he the means to summon him back with Kabuto's edo tensei and still didnt do it, my theory for this is that Negato was supposed to have it on hold incase something went wrong and Obito died in battle or something.

i think he has a backup plan, which bringing madara back might spoil....
