as itachi said during sasuke and his final battle that madara was his mentor...

so maybe madara taught obito and he too became very powerful... he sure was weak at beginning but after getting a teacher like madara he would have gotten this stronger....

I think so too, but like everyone else says, the pic's fake. Obito has no scars and it doesn't look like kishi's drawings...

Madara never taught itachi. Obito taught itachi. Itachi thought that Obito was Madara, therefore, it was Obito who taught Itachi. Madara is the the one who taught Obito though. How else did he get strong enough to stand up to Minato.

Really looked like he helped him at the end of 601. Without his help, Obito would be dead. So it`s logical that he liked him or worked for him or was trained by him. We will probably see it in the next few chapters how they made their plan together and how he trained him. The picture is cute though. Madara looks friendly. Doesn`t fit him but it`s cute.
