tobi vs minato

I thought it was obvious that minato is better than tobi, but I've seen guys post that tobi killed minato and it bothers me. so much that ive decided to take a vote. but first lets recall the events that took place that night. First tobi had the element of surprise, which he used to seperate minato and kushina and steal the kyuubi. Now minato manages to save naruto and kushina then he makes it back in time to deflect the beast bomb and almost put a kunai in tobis ear.

Now the deathmatch, i laugh everytime i see tobi put the chains on as minato is thinking lol wish i had a gif here sorry i dont. the first exchange is just to feel eachother out, and by this time minato knows tobis plan is to absorb him with kamui and that tobi has to solidify himself to do it. ( doesnt sound like much but most shinobi wouldnt have even come this far by themself ) now the second exchange minato takes tobis arm and then before tobi can react to whats going on minato takes the kyuubi back and tobi realizes he just got owned and runs away. imo tobi could attack minato on the crapper and minato would still ftg resangan his ass. but id like to know the general opinion on tobi vs minato

the old tobi was clearly outclassed by minato U_U, even with a surprise attack he failed and got his ass handed to him in no time (he knew that the only way for him to beat minato is to catch him in his kamui but he faild to even do that), the current tobi (obito) is really strong but i still think that minato MIGHT be able to take him out (but it will be a very very tough fight) it can go either way. its sad how people follow the guys with the FLASHY tech (and assume that its an instant kill) and forget minato's level, it happens to alot of characters and its wrong

You're correct minato beat his ass hard .... Current tobi with the gezo and rinnegan would be a different story. I do believe that he could possibly still beat tobi but it would be much harder. He did sacrifice himself to give kushina more time with naruto, so in reality tobi never actually killed him.

If minato was still alive, Minato would be the greatest ninja today if you ask me personally.. At such a young age he was considered a genius and god knows how much he could of progressed.

With Rinnegan Tobi wins. Remember, Tobi was like 14-15 years old when he fought Minato. Now he knows far more jutsu, has a gedo maze, izanagi, etc.

lol im not sure how old obito was when he fought minato, but id say late teens early twenties not 14 or 15, remember he is pretty much full grown in the fight. Without the gedo and hosts i think minato still owns him

its unfair to compare 15 year old obito with 32 year old obito isnt it? obito now is much stronger and much more experienced.
chakra chains, giant shuriken, katons, stakes, warfan, warmask (can tank an incomplete rasengan), gedo mazo, 6 edo jins, flame barrier. silly to think minato even compares right now
