The Eye of the Moon plan is obsolete

I just realized this plan Obito and Madara have going is completely pointless. They want to bring peace to the world, but the thing is they already united all the shinobi together. Basically what I'm saying here is that if they stop the war right now, everyone will be at peace since it's all a massive alliance. So why bother going? Guess it's all about Madara getting the Juubi, not Eye of the Moon plan or some shit. Obito's being totally manipulated.

Why is it obsolete? Look at today's currents. America is Konoha, China is land of wind the second strongest, a rising power, and you can figure out the rest. Each will always compete for dominance. Its an ego thing, peace never really last regardless of promises made. It doesn't matter how you really view it though, since the main point is dominance.
