Hashirama's clones (literally like a chapter or two ago) only distinguishable by Madara's EMS (stated by him) And CB does not smash stuff it just pulls everything to it. Meaning it's going to just pull rocks and stuff (or did you forget physics?) So Hashirama is not only going to be able to push and grow trees through it but break free with almost no hassle.

edo madara isnt hashirama+himself+nagato. he doesnt have all of hashiramas other jutsus and he isnt a mokuton master like him and he hasnt shown mastery of the rinnegan like nagato. edo madara is ems madara at the roots with a few extra powers that cant compare to the perfect susano that hashirama beat. hashirama beat perfect susano and if perfect susano cant kill hashirama then some inferior mokuton and meteors sure as hell wont.
