Can agree with almost everything but for different reasons. Nagato though is a reveal and if they truly are Madara's eyes it means there is another factor involved. Since there is no other item connecting Madara to Nagato and since Nagato wasn't able to transition transition the eyes (side effect of transplant) it is not an unreasonable theory. We also know Madara died with his eyes. Someone had to remove and transplant to Nagato after death. Don't you find it odd that some Leaf ninjas mistook Nagato's parents for soldiers? Two people making the same mistake? So if transplanted Nagato had them while Obito would have still been in diapers.

Obito fits the plot more than anyone else, not only is was he shown very similar to Naruto, but he connects with the current generation. Izuna wouldn't have that emotional impact on the story. It would just be "two brothers trying to take over the world", boring. -_- But look what we have with Obito..

Why did he become evil? (THE BIGGEST MYSTERY)

How did he get so strong?

How did Rin die?

Will he betray Madara?

Is he related to Madara?

What exactly are Madara and Obito's connections?

Was that really him that battled against the 4th?


So yeah, you probably see where I'm going, there's much more mystery, Obito was the perfect choice for Tobi. Especially since Kishi already went into his character a bit when he was a child.

I believe its only part obito, madara must've saved his body from the falling rocks and is controlling him somehow.
