Naruto never had time to take the exams over like everyone else, and the original ones were cancelled. After the time-skip it was already clear that he was lower Jounin-tier though. Rassengan, rassengan barrage, giant rassengan, mastery of his shadow clones, and basic genjutsu knowledge prove this.

Itachi himself said that Naruto had grown a lot when he tried to break his genjutsu.

The only reason Naruto didn't become chunin was because he left the village and didn't attend the examinations. Did you read the manga?

Hinata follows naruto his ninja way of not giving up.
So no, the team wouldnt just give up.

Chouji is strong- probably the strongest in the Konoha 11 other than Naruto. He's always been cool- back off.

Every member of the K11 is now chunnin/jonin rank. That should be evident.
