Some people are asking why Yamamoto didn't use his bankai during the Aizen saga?? Well, I think it's because he was already much stronger than Aizen so increasing power would be meaninglessU_U, Aizen even admitted this

He had planned to toast the entire Karakura town along with Aizen and himself and could do that in shikai because of Kyoukasuigetsus hypnosis after catching him, so just boosting power would've been nonsensical..

Aizen is just a kid to Yamamoto, and only Juha Bach is worthy of facing Yama-jii in bankai..

Because Aizen was above shinagami's power and it has no effect on him.

No.

There is no such thing as a limit to where a Shinigami's power can't effect you. This is one of the stupidest things I've read in a good while. Vizards are beyond a Shinigami's power too. Does that make them immune to attacks from Shinigamis? NO.

It doesn't matter what you are, Shinigami or Hollow or Quincy or whatever. If you're stronger than the enemy then you can hurt them. That's all there is to it. If Yamamoto went Bankai on Aizen and connected a hit then Aizen's ******* would have been gaping. The only reason he didn't is because Kubo didn't want it to end that way.

Actually he didn't use bankai because he couldn't all the flame from ryuin jakka had been seal from wonderweiss even new flames. It was a specific strategy Aizen set up against Yama so Yama using bankai it would have been sealed as well.

Gaping lol
