do you think the 5 kages are under madara's control?

madara didn't need to fight the kages in matter of fact he can use them for his advantage, I don't think he wanted to kill them but just let the kages use most of there chakra so that madara can just use genjutsu to control them.

if you haven't notice madara had almost 20 times to kill the kages.(madara has only been using one two abilities from the rinnegan the preta path and deva path)

madara could have used animal path, and asura if he really wanted to finsih the kages but instead he fights stationary and see's there limits.

madara might use the kages in order to gain the nine tails to cooperate because if the kages are in genjutsu than madara is in control since he can control them.(if you use genjutsu you can make someone speak,control there action, or mental pain.)

now if madara can control the kages then he can make them fight naruto or hold them hostage against them I don't think madara would really kill them it seemed he didn't want to use his perfect susanno again and all so maybe since the kages where low on chakra except for tsunade gaining a bit where able to get controlled by madara genjutsu?

if the kages are really in genjutsu then madara can just manipulate there minds and make them stay where ever they are and if they have the raikage alive the raikage can just follow to madara location since he has lighting armour to bring the rest of the kages.

so do you think madara put the kages under his control or even hostage?

also if they are under madara's control then madara can make the kages stall untill the ten tails is unleashed.

no the 4th probably didn't get caught in genjutsu and i gaara and tsunade would die before they let madara get to naruto

but i don't think madara would let that happen it seems like he would rather enjoy them going against what they wanted to protect, also they are important to there countries so they may not have died.

also genjutsu is fast so maybe even before they tried to they just couldn't since madara caught them already.

I doubt they are control, my only guess is that he got bored and finally finished them...yes the sharigan can "control" people and beast..but it has yet to be shown to control higher level ninjas...tailed-beast seem to easily be control because they're just "chakra" but I doubt that kages would fall to it.

hard to picture the kages dead. I don't think they are probably were defeated and hurt but Madara spared their lives.

genjutsu can control anyone depending on how it is used like to me since they where already beat down or low on chakra that madara can put them in a genjutsu making them believe that they are still fighting or what ever madara made them believe like putting them in despair like how naruto got trapped.

so I really think since the kages are low on chakra and that they don't have mastery of genjutsu(yin) then i don't think they will be able to reverse madara ems genjutsu or rinnegan because madara easily caught the raikage if he really wanted to control the raikage then i think he could but chose not to because it would be boring to fight them, but you can be right though.
