I have noticed a lot of people upset that Tobi is Obito, which I think is a bit stupid since the story is still developing. While personally i don't consider these people "fans" so much as whiny little.. Therefore I don't think the manga is losing fans at all, Kishi is just weeding out the annoying complainers.

I've been reading books my whole life and when I don't like something about a book or when the writer screws up with the timeline and so on, I will express my discontempt.

i disagree. while i don't like choji much, or his bringing down ino-shika-cho. I gotta admit he stepped up like a boss. Gaara vs his dad was cool, and itachi trolling like always lol. I cant really picture it going any other way i rate every chap 5/5 lol call me a fanboy

Some of the mistakes he made cannot be explained. I'm okay with Obito being Tobi, I'm not happy but I'm okay with it. What I'm upset about is the timeline screw ups, it shows that he became careless, and how us the fans know the manga more than he does.

Kishi hasn't even adressed the timeline yet, how can you be upset?

Edit: the only timeline mistake I saw was the minatos face on the mountain in the obito flashback.
