Many things in like a million movies, poems, stories, books, video games and even in reallife happen because of some chick. I just don`t get why he did never openly try to take revenge for her. He had many chances to kill Kakashi before and never even tried to face him.

Hmm, not sure if he still loves her? At least he tries to claim that he doesn`t care about the past. I think he was more hurt by Kakashi leaving him, getting his eye and becoming a hero. Even if he gave him the eye and wanted Kakashi to live, he was probably mad like hell when he survived. Then he was too proud to contact Kakakshi. A true Uchiha. Proud and stubborn.

Don't compare what Yahiko, Nagato and Konan have gone through with Obito's reason.
They've been through so much together compared to team Minato...

The Tobi effect

We now see why Obito is evil, its the same reason why Sasuke is evil.

Tobi/Obito is evil because he lost someone close and the anger and hatred caused by this has allowed him to be manipulated by Madara.

Chances are Madaras the one who killed Obito, and after a good tearful burst of the most powerful talk-no-jutsu that this series has ever seen, Obito will help them fight Madara, because quite frankly, they have no chance, hell the Kages ae probably dead now

It actually is kinda okay to fight because of a girl, yes. But if that really was the only reason, Obito would have gone after Kakashi and nobody else. Forming the Akatsuki and starting project tsuki no me is too much. There is probably more here than just Rin.

^ This but I think he's been made to a see a bigger picture... How Rin is one of many that have had a short lived life because she was a Shinobi.

because kakashi let her die, he didnt actually hold the kunai. i think an uchiha did. hence his animosity at konoha and uchihas

obito doesnt give a shit about anything or anyone except moons eye plan. so i doubt he still loves her. he didnt go back to konha because of her death but he was corrupted by other stuff

It is understable to be mad for a girl . Ex: naruto because of hinata. Maybe he was tired of people fighting and killing so because he wants complete peace as the rikudo wanted. My guess is that madara caried the elder son's will and then obito is the next on the line to complete the objective( finding peace through force and violence)

well obviously for him it was more than just a crush. i've stated a thousand times in the last week "madara must have corrupted him". obito isnt the only manipulator in the manga. your the one oversimplifying it. we still dont know rins circumstances and what obito was told by madara.

Not to mention that Batman has jack shit to do with this thread.

im pointing out double standards. batman had a villain going crazy from love, you love it. naruto has a villain going crazy from love, you hate it

what i saw was a guy citing his grade school puppy love-crush as a reason for getting angry, then disappointed and eventually giving up hope, which means that of course he has feelings for her and that's disturbing.... dude, to be honest even if both Rin and Obito were adults and he still had feelings for someone who died like 15 years ago, that's still weird. i am not saying not being sad, but not allowing sth like this to become your motivation for doing or not doing certain things, like starting annihilation wars.

so you don't think Madara fked Obito's mind after almost died. Actually people close to death are extremely easy to mind control, it's called trauma based mind control. Plus he doesn't seem to even care about Rin anymore.

I agree with Madara manipulating him but I don't think Obito is changing sides. He even laughed at how easily Nagato was swayed with words.

Also if obito changes sides I don't think edo madara can take on obito, bee, gai, kakashi, naruto and the whole shinobi alliance that is coming. So I think Obito is staying on Madara's side
