Could he have sent a clone to try and figure out what was going on? I mean, the Edo Tensei regenerate very rapidly, and there must have been quite a distance between Madara and Obito, so I think he'd have been restored during that time.

there is that possibilty but we still dont know everything behind edo tensei, now that no one is behind it and he is the only one left maybe the regeneraton is slower than usual :shrug:

It may have been a mistake but I doubt it. It's such a blatant change and happened so recently that I can't believe Kishimoto forgot about it.

Oh man, I'm so disappointed. I was looking forward to real answers, not flashbacks...

At least I guess the Fodder 11 + Sasuke will join the fray. That seems plausible as of now.
