Question about Izanami

If Itachi uses Izanami on Kabuto, will that affect his Edo's?

What I mean is say if Kabuto is stuck in the loop, will his edo's be too or will they still be able to fight?

Does range matter at all?

If the edo's can still fight, than Kabuto > Itachi definitely.

I'm not trying to start a vs. thread but I was just wondering about Izanami.

It depends if kabuto has them under his complete control if so then it will effect the edos id he has a loser grip and lets them do as they please then i don't believe it will effect them.

the edos are already gone except madara who somehow found a way to go freelance....so no the edos wont be able to fight.....kabuto is already defeated by itachi so itachi>>kabuto

The other edos were on a different battlefield

Kabuto was holding back because he did not want to kill Sasuke plus it was 2 on 1 if you want to get technical.

If Kabuto put them in cold-blooded killing machine mode before he is hit with izanami; they will stay in cold-blooded killing mode.

If Kabuto put them in a fighting mode, but they are still conscious; they will stay in that mode

if they were on different battle fields den definitely no.. cause if put a genjutsu to clone it won't affect you.. simple as that..:noc:


but itachi found a way to release it so they vanished.. thats an another case..

well i dont think kabuto would be able to defeat any one of them anyway....but i dont think there would be any range to izanami....the edos are like puppets and if you control the master you control the puppets....they were still fighting when kabuto was busy with itachi and sasuke....so..i guess theres some sort of auto pilot going on

well, the manga has already shown they were still out and about while kabuto was in izanami apparently the entire fight against itachi and sasuke. And calling kabuto better because of that was proved wrong as well...sure they could still go fright but it showed itachi raising his eyelids and using genjutsu to get kabuto to use the handseals to release ET, so once kabuto was in izanami they could have ended it, kishi just waited a few issues to finish the story of kabuto more completely.

2nd bold: They were? Does it matter on range though? Like if they were closer Izanami would be more effective towards edos? If Kabuto had them under complete control would they be controlled because he is in Izanami?

now thats a question only kishi can answer.....that was the first time we saw izanami....a chapter before that we didnt even know if it was just another plot from itachi or a real zutsu....personally i dont think kabuto being under izanami would effect the edos...if so then it would be wayyy convenient to put the person controlling edo under a genjutsu and play god

It would not affect the Edo people, no one will be controlling them around so they will just do what ever command was given to them before.

I was wondering what would happen, not really assuming, that's why I made a thread with a question. The edos were still on the battlefield fighting while he was in the loop right? So why can't they fight Itachi while Kabuto is in the loop?

Unless it has to do w/ RANGE. I'm not a fanboy, Itachi is one of my favorite characters and I hate Kabuto, he is HAX, but with your "logic" you're saying Itachi > anyone because of Izanami.
