[Discussion] Question: What would happen if a Tailed Beast got all of their tales cut off.

Sorry for the dumb question but I was re-watching some Dragonball Z.
(Yes I am a DBZ fan)

I saw Vegeta cut off Kid Gohan's tale when he was a great ape.
Kid Gohan reverted back to normal.

What would happen if a tailed beast got all of their tales cut off or lost them all?

Would they die or lose all of their powers?

I would love to have your thoughts guys and girls.

Tailed beast regenerate it as the hachibi said that all of his tails were cut of buy the third raikage but they have seemed to regenerate as he had them all in his fight with taka.

That's a good question... It's said somewhere in the manga the beasts power is told by the tails it has..... Maybe they'd loose some chakra.... Dont know but hachibi doesn't really count because he is half octopus....

I think I saw that to. The number of tails represents a tailed beasts power but don't feel like looking for it at the moment.

The tails are just there because they were made like that it doesnt contain their powers, if one is cut off it will regenerate again just like hachibi.
