How old was Itachi when he beat Orochimaru the first time in Akatsuki?

Sorry to open another topic about Itachi directly after the first one, but do you know how old he was when he fought Orochimaru the first time in Akatsuki?

Actually he was 11. At the beginning of shippuden it said that it was the first time all them gather together since orochimaru left 7yrs ago. According to the databook itachi was 17-18 in shippuden so you can do the math.

So you actually mean that he was in the Akatsuki before the Uchiha massacre? I thought he joined Akatsuki only after that?

He died at 21. Shippuden hasn't even been a year long yet. So he was 14-15... like i said.

When here, you can see that Itachi has roughly the same height with Orochimaru:

Good point but kishimoto makes a lot of mistakes in the manga. Like in the last chapter he shows kakashi taking the chunin exams with Rin and obito but in the first databook he says kakashi becomes a chunin at age 7 I think and obito and Rin were still in the academy at that time.

itachi was 10,5 when the coup'd etat was set in motion.
13 when he killed off his clan (these two are facts not a theory or something)
21 when he died.

there is this. and also after the timeskip it was said that oro left the akatsuki 10 years ago. so they both indicate the same thing. there shouldn't be any mistake.

if we go by these and that he was 21 after the timeskip it means itachi was 11 years old when he kicked oro's ass.

there was even a huge thread about this half a year ago. someone said he was 11. (and I still agree with it) but if that's the case it would mean itachi was in akatsuki for two years before the extermination. and it's hard to cover such a thing up. so most people doesn't believe it. it seems fishy that's certain but I still believe he was 11 when that happened.

There is strong evidence which says that he joined akatsuki before he killed the clan and tbh it has been confirmed. He made the deal with madara/tobi before the massacre happened therefore he most likely defeated orochimaru during his introduction to akatsuki, before the massacre happened. Hints before 13
