Do you think America would elect a openly gay president? Why or why not?

Keep in mind there are openly gay senators etc. But they aren't in the spotlight quite like a president.


As for my answer, as long as he/she does his/her job correctly.

This ^^ like he said the south for the most part I'm from the south so yeah I can say most of us won't but me personally I would I find there being nothing wrong with gay.

You think that would come first? Probably. But he might not be married and in office. Come to think of it, I can't think of a president that wasn't married off the top of my head.. probably quite a few though.

actually there was only one president that wasnt married at all while in office or ever for that matter james buchanan of pennsylvania

You should also include an option is it morally right to elect a open gay president. A president should represent the country as a whole not to any particular group or lifestyle.
