[Discussion] Last year of high school

Yah i just lack the drive to do my homework if i find it boring/tedious (most of it) so my gpa is kinda low

I know that feeling. I mainly do it when I'm bored and feel like I have the time. Sometimes I actually get stuck doing it in the morning or during lunch. :ghehe: I have learned that if we just take an hour out of our lives for homework, then it won't be that bad.

just keep your GPA above 3.5... thats all!

Haha. You just made me realize that I have no social life. I never hang out with friends on weekdays, much less weekends. Weekends are for homework, and weekdays are for more homework.

Nope, I'm a senior atm and always got A's and such so I have an A average, good GPA and am in the top % so it's all great. I'm just gonna try to do what I've been doing and have fun this year.

Mornings are always me rushing to do atleast a couple things on my work so it looks like I tried somewhat.

On a side not, ignore any bad spelling you may see. Im still getting used to a proper keyboard as I just upgraded to a laptop from an ipod touch (which i was using for 3 years so im not realy used to typing on this.)

Awesome. Who needs a social life anyways when you can do work. I actually enjoy all my homework when it's not an essay...

My mom makes me do homework right when I get home. Then i sit with a text book on my lap and play ipod games behind it for an hour....then go use my ps3 the rest of the night.

No no, you should/can relax and study at the same day.. Just study for an hour of 2 then take 10 min of rest..(Eat some fruit or go outside..Whatever you like)
Then get back with your nose in the books!

This my first time of college.. And I've to admit, I miss my class/teachers and school..
So here comes a big advice from me!!!

Haha, well not that I own a laptop i'm going to be on NB a lot xd
Everyone has said just have fun, I never said i wasn't going to, i'm just kinda stressed because the importance of this year really just started to sink in. Plus I think theres still some bull crap teacher strike going on here and thats adding to the stress. Thoughts like "oh my god im never going to pass if schools get shut down for weeks because of all the work we have to catch up on when we finally get back."

Well I repeated my final year of High School because y actual final year was a muck around year full of bullshit and nonsense, at my own expense.

So, all I'm saying is that you should just go at your capability level; if you know you can get your B's you can. Just do what you gotta do and study, just don't stress. And don't slack off until you know you've done a certain amount of work.

Lol I started to do this the second semester of ma junior year but still passed the damn classes with A's..I just imagine if I actually studied for once. I bet I could be even in a higher rank. even so, I'm not so worried about such things. I just do what I do.​
