I ask that everyone go review the Manga and see what almost everyone in it says about Itachi. Pay attention to his fights and his goal. Itachi controlled all his fights, every single second of it. Why would Itachi waste a Tsukuyomi on Sasuke knowing he might have to fight Jiraiya seconds later? Because he knew Jiraiya had nothing for him. He could do what he wanted. All the while pulling off the bad guy act without killing anybody and I still hear fans saying he's terrible for terrorizing a 6yr old and helping Akatsuki with the beasts, but like I said before he played his role well and when he couldn't do it any more he passed it on to sasuke.

This isn't fanboyism, its just what kishi wrote. Itachi is the 4th in a Uchiha body. It was never meant for Itachi to be as OP as he is but when it comes down to the manga it clearly states he is. His infamous reputation is the only thing that keeps him from being praised with the like of Hashirama and Minato. You dont think his achievements were greater?

Edit: I would like to add, we have yet to see the fruits of his resolve.

Itachi gave naruto a gaurantee win over sasuke, saving konoha, Itachi killed his whole family to stop a rebellion that would cause a war that would have allowed Tobi to complete his moon eye's plan years ago. Itachi saved Jiraiya's life, whether you believe it or not. Itachi saved sasuke, naruto and the Jounin that found him. He saved the world 4 times in 4 different ways. Get past what you want to see. He did all this and you guys dont even appreciate him for who he really was EPIC. btw I like Naruto more then any other character.

Er no, that was just a comparison between the relevance Itachi's hype/feats and the previous hokage's. I never placed greater importance on hype or feats; that is to say, I didn't distinguish between the two interms of superiority.

Hashirama would beat current Sasuke interms of feats aswell, it's really not something which is up for debate.
