The word 'trolling' comes from a method of fishing where one or more fishing lines, baited with lures or bait fish.

In the terms of internet and NB, it means breaking multiple rules, posting messages that contain a clear and stupid contradiction of common knowledge or deliberately starting threads/posts intedning to elicit an angry response or mocking/teasing/ridiculing someone or the point someone wants to make. yada yada.

In short being a pest at the forums.
