Explanation of the masked man who attacked Konoha.

Before you say anything, this is not another one of thse 'Tobi is not Obito' threads, read before you post.

Obito, being Minato's subordinate, knows about his ftg techinque. In the normal FTG technique that Minato uses (let's call it lvl 1 ftg), he throws a kunai and teleports to it after it has stopped i.e he teleports to it while it isn't in motion. When he fought the masked man, he teleported to the kunai while it was in motion (lvl 2 ftg). This is an assumption on my part, but nevertheless all i'm saying is that if the masked man was Obito, he might have been hit because he didn't know that Minato could teleport to a moving Kunai.

I don't really mind if Tobi is Obito, and I don't know why it's such a big problem for people. It's Kishi's creation, and he gets to choose what happens. He wouldn't just do it without a reason.

Actually, if you look at what Kakashi and guy looked like, they appeared to be alot older than 14, i mean they were pretty tall. And since he was entirely covered by a cloak and mask, discerning his age would be sketchy, being 14 doesnt necessarily mean you cant look as tall as he did, i mean what about itachi?? at the time of the massacre to part 1, it barely looked like he aged when we all know he did, quite a bit.
The thing that confuses me tho is the voice....

MATH TIME! Kakashi is 30 y.o and Tobi attacked the Village 16 years ago.

30 - 16= 14 and because Obito is the same aged as Kakashi, he must have been 14 when he attacked the village. But of course, there is always possibility of timeline holes.

Haha touche!! All the more reason why the whole age thing isnt AS big of an issue as ppl make it out to be. Although i do understand why some would find it an issue.

Tobi is a symbol. Just wait. Once upon a time Madara was Tobi and then Obito when w/e happened did. Just like Robin becoming the new Batman at the end of Dark Knight Rises. As a boy, Obito was crushed...but as Tobi, he was more.
