he is unhapy . Do you think because La liga is boring ? Barca fans don't start saying because of messi or inesta because he said himself he is unhappy about something else . If he leaves im not supporting Madrid ( Although they are a good team )

He's not unhappy! U_U .. They're gave him a present!
//Look at my signature//

EDITED: Oooh, there was also a letter in the handbag..
It says:

"Dear, Ronaldo
You look like a girl and we hate you
Don't you dare cry like you do in every match we lose..
Here take this handbag and scream: I'm a gay and I'm proud..
Much love,
Madrid"

I don't understand that, I thought he was pretty close with Marcelo, Pepe and Ozil?
I personally think it doesn't involve the club itself.

Only them three he was friends with . they also could leave
Anways i think he finds la liga boring cuz of a two man race . Its either Barca or Real that wins la liga

Did u see his face when iniesta was given the European player of d year award? Very unhappy. Plus, the fact that madrid depend too heavily on him. If dey loose a match = ronaldo did not play well.

This news is making headlines everywhere by now. He just stole the limelight from others' with this news.

Frankly, it's not mere rumors since he indeed didn't celebrate his 2 goals but I doubt, it's a matter as serious that he's gonna leave Madrid. What I mean, is that Madrid will definitely act a peace-maker in this matter, so as not to compromise their Liga and CL chances. CR7 is a huge part of their armada, Madrid can't afford a fallout with their best player right now.

I found this comment on Yahoo:

Very strong rumours in Doncaster that Madrid refused him permission to talk to the Rovers about signing for them as a replacement for Coppinger.

I am still laughing.

i think CR is a great player, but i don't know why doesn't he shine the way he shined in man united, the thing is CR is a striker (an excellent finisher) so he should be given the right balls so he can score (finish), if you ask me i don't even know why he is still in real madrid U_U

I don't know why, he hasn't been playing so seriously since the begining of the season except against barcelona. And he's finally revealed he is unhappy, hop its not because of kaka is leaving.

La Liga boring? No. Ronaldo said himself before the start of the season he thinks La Liga is the best league.

This doesn't surprise me at all. He was all joyful and talking like Madrid is back on track after the Supercup victory, but the second Iniesta wins the award his expression give it away that he was not happy, and than three days later at Madrid he says, "I'm sad."

There are many other Madrid players who recently came out and said Casillas deserves the Ballon this year. Which also will upset the diva of course thinking his teammates are against him.

Ronaldo is one of the highest paid footballer, his Portugal side improves almost every year and he captains them. They beat Barcelona for the Supercup this year. This Madrid side is one of the best to be assembled not to mention more will be joining. Rumours have it if Bale wants to leave or Tottenham want to sell him Madrid get the first buy on him. What is he not happy with? He doesn't get to captain Madrid?

Or maybe he's trying to get sympathy for the Ballon D'Or judges, so he can get the award. If he loses the Ballon watch he'll moan and bitch. He'll say next, "I'm depressed."

Okay, let get to the point: It isn't about two-leg horse race of La Liga. It isn't really about wages issues. It isn't about his compassion towards Madrid's outlaws - Kaka, Contrao ect... It isn't about an expired gel box during Getafe match. It isn't about Irina's feeling unhappy at Madrid either.

Here's the Escorp's analyze!

What is it really about?

It isn't really about Iniesta winning the UEFA European Player but mostly the aftermath of it. As I said for that award, it isn't as heavy as a prize as the Ballon D'Or but it is somewhat an indication of what's going to occur. But still, it will also be different since domestic leagues and cups and stats will be further taken into consideration for Ballon D'Or. Here, it's mostly all on Euro and CL. That apart, he and Messi got 17 votes for that prize while Iniesta got 19 votes.

Analyze the voters carefully and notice one thing - the journalists from greater European footballing countries - voted for Iniesta. That is, Germany, France, Italy, England, Russia or even Netherlands. Somewhat, I will be tempted to say that Ronaldo's vote from Portugal and Spain will have not been for him, had he not be Portuguese or had Spain's journalist not be from MARCA U_U Harsh but that is it!

Did Ronaldo do well with this tantrum?

Somewhat, I do agree with his annoyance after Iniesta won it in that case. He deserved much better recognition from most journalists. Messi shouldn't really have tied with him since the latter didn't play Euros. What I wanna say that his anger/sadness is justified as he did merit the prize but his tantrums isn't as Iniesta also well-deserved.

I don't like the matter about how he took this matter into public. I respect him as a person and as a player. His quest to be the best against odds is admirable but somehow, this matter shouldn't have been taken out in the open. It gives a whiny attitude while it's more of a depression declaration. Some media are presenting him as the scapegoat and some as the greedy prick. Still can't deny one thing - he sure knows how to hog the limelight.

How much impact had this declaration done?

With two lines, all journalists and media forgot Falcao's exploits, Iniesta's win, CL's group of deaths, RVP's saving hattrick, Bayern's 6-1 demolition, PSG's first league win ect... and everybody jumped on the Ronaldo's wagon.

His depression is mostly said to be caused by the lack of backup he's getting from Spain media and Madrid's staffs/players for winning Ballon. But he isn't being a diva and neither does he want to be captain.

Influence on Ballon D'Or?

Neither Barca or Madrid isn't going to win any more trophies by the time Ballon D'Or comes up. Neither will a league decider be done by that time. Ronaldo and Messi were both close for that prize and somewhat, I think Ronaldo got the inches advantages thanks to his goal-winning Supercopa performance.

That apart, he's worried despite him seemingly having the footballing accomplishments edge. Why? Well, as I said, Ballon D'Or juries is f'ked up. Yeah, I know, I've been saying that since some time now but try to decipher my point of view and connect it with CR7's frustrations.

Messi is pampered at Barca, he isn't. Casillas, Iniesta, Xavi are Spaniards, he isn't. As I said, Ballon D'Or is becoming more and more of a popularity contests and Ronaldo just shook off the building for his own good. Being better footballer isn't proportional to being next Ballon D'Or winner right now. Sneijder was the latest prime example of this in 2010.

Media is playing a much too big part in this whole thing and somewhat, CR7 knows that were he to lose Ballon again, it might not be becuase of his seasons but because of media favoritism towards Messi and other Spanish players. Ballon D'Or is becoming like a tv-reality show and just like in that, hogging the limelight is a good way to shake things up in either your favor. But eventually, there's the risk of this playing against him.

This tantrum is gonna make media go deeper into Ronaldo's past seasons. Somehow, it's a good thing. Many people underestimate Ronaldo's past seasons because they don't rightfully take his value into Madrid's Liga title. Or there's a misconception that he had not such a great season because Messi did better than him stats-wise or because he didn't win Euro or CL. In a way, perhaps, just perhaps, many people will try to see what he actually did last seasons. And it's already starting btw...

Bad things about this shout-out of his sadness?

Well, apart from the blow to his attitude and persona, there isn't much. Many media are labeling him as greedy prick and arrogant, diva, whiny tags are obviously following.

I'd like to touch a last point though. As I said above, Spain media does favoritism towards Messi and Spanish players but they also present Ronaldo in a wrong light.

In England, he was mostly "The struggling dreamer from Maderia who kept challenging himself and became a Red Devils superstars. And he wanna keep reaching new and bigger summits."

In Spain, he's more like "A goal-scoring Los-Blancos machine who arrogantly wanna prove himself as superior to 'King Leo' and 'Spanish Legends'"

Somehow, his quest to become the best is far from viewed in the best light by Spanish media. And if in surplus, even his Madrid teammates don't back him up, well, it's quite human to be vexed.

So, overall, was this intelligent by Ronaldo to do?

Well, yes! I may not agree to it morally but he def. shook things up. He's making this Ballon D'Or stuff; further more competitive than a mere footballing accomplishment. His sadness statement just made this Ballon D'Or a war for the throne of football king.

And going by the adage, all is fair in love & war!

Thank you.

I highly doubt this is the reason. Its something for his own selfish needs. Regardless will probably find out in a day or two.
