Anyways, back to the point, please tell me everything you know about wind in relation to us as shinobi.

Wind is one of the five basic chakra nature transformations. It's greatest strength is it's cutting property, due to the chakra being transformed into a very thin, sharp state. A perfect example of this is the Rasen-Shuriken, which shapes chakra so thin and sharp that it cuts on a cellular level. It's the rarest of the five chakra natures. It is strong against lightning as air is a natural insulant, and weak against fire as air fuels fire and causes it to grow stronger. Because of this it can be used to increase the power of your own or a partner's fire release techniques. It can also be used in conjuction with water release to increase it's destructive power. It is known to be a part in Haku's Ice release along with water release , as well as the Tsuchikage's Dust release along with Earth and Fire. It can be used in conjuction with weapons, such as Asuma's chakra blades or Danzou's shuriken, to increase the cutting power and destructive force of those weapons.

Examples of Wind Release jutsu are Danzou's Vacuum sphere technique, Naruto's Rasenshuriken technique, Orochimaru's Great Breakthrough, and Temari's Wind Scythe.

Some Users of Wind Release are: Naruto, Danzou, Temari, and Asuma.

P.S. I actually got the first volume of the manga for christmas from a friend years ago and i've meaning to watch the anime recently. Thanks for reminding me I'm gonna start watching it now haha

Not all Wind jutsu cut on a cellular level. To create a wind technique capable of doing such is not only difficult, but it can also cause self harm. Fuuton: Rasen Shuriken is the only cannon technique that does that, and as seen in the anime, there is a bit of a risk in using it - The technique is powerful enough to sever the chakra network, something not even the most experienced medical ninja can heal, however the risk is the same for the user.

*I snap my fingers*

The wind seems to control the motions of everything in the field. The blades of grass are blown with the wind. Pollen from flowers moves wherever the wind carries it. Everything moves in rhythm with the wind. The wind controls the flow of everything here. My hair flows with the wind just as everything else in the field. It makes me feel calm and relaxed.

"How do you feel now!?" I yell.

*I grab onto the tree to hold on as the wind rips through the area*

I feel like I'm at the mercy of the wind! Like I'm looking a massive monster dead in the eye and holding on for dear life and hoping it doesn't attack!
