Yes but only really by other insanely powerful techniques!
The thing itself just annoys me. For example, Sasuke, who used a combo of taijutsu, ninjutsu and strategy has now just been reduced to standing on the same spot protected by this seemingly unbreakable wall for the majority of his fights. Thats what Susanoo has just become.

I just prefer fights that don't involve it personally, thats what i'm trying to say.

Well yes, any technique can be countered by something (thank god), that kind of goes without saying but the Susanoo itself just seems too symbolically overpowered. If you don't have one of these mystical jutsus that seem to be made specifically against it you don't stand a chance and the user will keep throwing fireballs, amataresus and whatever the hell he wants at you until he's bored.

And my main quarrel with it is just how little restrictions are needed to maintain it at this point in the series and how it can just be used for tiny tasks like taking out a few fodder zetsus or DIY. Every slightly powerful Uchiha may as well be a jinchuriki on top of their already huge inventory of incredibly overly-powerful moves.

I really like these debates though guys- keep them coming

I kind of agree with you, I don't like how they pull susanno out so quickly, but you have to think about the only characters to have used it are itachi, madara, and sauske three of the most powerful uchiha of all time, and all three of them had unlocked MS which was something that only a very few uchiha have been able to unlock. So use susanno is a bit OP but so are narutos powers so the uchiha need some sort of incredibly strong defense.

I'm not a huge Gaara fan when it comes to the fighting but at least Gaaras had the crap beaten out of him a good few times. Rock Lee was enough to wear down his defences by just determination, speed and tactics. Thats what made that fight so fun to watch.

Deidara also managed to straight up overpower Gaara but i'm guessing thats because plot no jutsu and Deidara was on a much higher power level then Gaara at the time. Gaara's ultimate defence was definitely powerful and during earlier arcs could've even been counted as 'overpowered' but then again, Gaara didn't have Amataresu, Summonings, Tsukyomi, Sealing Swords and heaven knows how many other techniques on top of the already incredibly powerful defence wall. (Susanoo/Sand)

Amaterasu is much worse. Only way to counter it is with insane speed. An inexperienced Uchiha brat could beat even the most experienced kage level ninja if he has no counter to amaterasu.Thats just bullshit.

I think that just goes towards the ridiculously overpowered character of Itachi Uchiha sadly :\

I'm fine with the idea of it but perfect susanoo is complete overkill for anybody and shouldn't exist in the manga, it really shouldn't.
