Welcome to training, this is a brief on how this training with proceed. What will be given, and what is expected of you. This isn't complicated, pretty simple to understand.

Before posting, subscribe to the thread by clicking "thread tools" to the top right of this post and selecting subscribe. When you are subscribed, you can seee if I have posted by clicking your "UserCP".

Your reply should be no less than two sentences and it should be descriptive enough. I'm not a fan of wallies though, so please don't exceed 5 sentences for each technique. If something should prevent you from replying in training for the next 2 weeks, please inform me. With that out of the way, lets begin. Your first post should include an approved biography of your choice.

Katon is one of the five main natures of chakra in Narutoverse -- it's strong against wind, but weak against water.

The Uchiha are known for their skill in Katon, but other users include Asuma and Jiraiya.

To create fire chakra, the user must mold hot chakra in their belly and then release it at once =]

Now, lets make sure you can use the fire element.

*Hands you a special piece of paper*
Channel your chakra into it.


The chakra paper reactions are as follows:
-Fire: the paper will ignite and turn to ash.(This is your aim)
-Wind: the paper will split in two.
-Lightning: the paper will wrinkle.
-Earth: the paper will turn to dirt and crumble away.
-Water: the paper will become wet/damp.​

In the diagram above, that red and blue area at the abdomen is where we gather chakra. It then goes through small streams, we call this the chakra network.

The Chakra Network is the term for the channels within the body that transfer and channel chakra. Simply put they serve the same function for chakra as blood vessels do for blood. Along the chakra pathways, there 361 nodes called tenketsu that control the flow of chakra like circuit breakers, and within those tenketsu are Eight Gates which control body function and strain levels.

We will begin with a D Rank technique, this is the rank of power/effect on the body. There are: E,D,C,B,A,S and Forbidden Rank (ascending towards the right).

Well, to be a specialist doesn't require Forbidden Techniques, just a completed element+Additional Approved Cannon Techniques. In addition to that, one can only be a specialist in two of the basic five elements.

This is a basic fire technique, let's begin. Gather your Katon chakra. when enough is gathered, channel it through your chakra network. With the chakra at your stomach, mold the super heated chakra, making it into Fire. Send the fire upwards to your mouth as you release, manipulate the shape of it to form balls of fire.

Alright, take several shuriken out of your tool bag. Aim to the tree in front of you and throw the shuriken. As you throw the shuriken, gather your katon chakra then mold it into your stomach, making it superheated and forming fire. Release the chakra from your mouth and onto the shuriken you threw, this will inflame them.

-I remove a few shuriken from my bag, and stand in front of the tree, preparing to throw. I begin to gather my chakra in my stomach, heating it, and throw the shuriken; as the shuriken glide through the air, I push the fiery chakra from my stomach into my mouth and aim at the shuriken. The shuriken catch fire, and hit the tree in front of me, leaving burn marks where they landed-

Description: After performing the necessary hand seals Snake → Ram → Monkey → Tiger, the user is able to create and blow a flammable gas from their lungs. Once it comes in contact with fire or sparks, the gas ignites into a large fireball

Gather your chakra then perform the Snake, Ram, Monkey then Tiger handseals. Channel the chakra to your stomach, where you will begin to concentrate. Mold the chakra to change it's property, however, this time you won't mold it into fire, mold it into a flammable gas-like substance, then release it. Since the gas is flammable, if it makes contact with fire or sparks, it will ignite into a large fireball.

-I quickly and carefully perform the handseals; snake, ram, monkey, tiger. I mold the chakra, but don't make it hot and fiery -- I turn it to a gassy substance and release it-

Gather your fire chakra then channel it through your chakra network and to your stomach. You will then manipulate the chakra, molding it and making it super hot, this will create fire. Send it up your body and release it through your mouth. Manipulate it's shape to form a small flame.

Description: The user will create a small short flame at the opponent. This flame is capable of making the target collapse due to the heat of the technique. This technique requires no handseals.

This is similar to ( Katon no Jutsu ) - Fire Release Technique, but this one is more powerful and able to make the opponent collapse. Gather your fire chakra then channel it through your chakra network and to your stomach. You will then manipulate the chakra, molding it and making it super hot, this will create fire. Send it up your body and release it through your mouth. Manipulate it's shape to form a slightly larger flame.

(Katon: Gōkakyū no Jutsu ) - Fire Release: Great Fireball Technique

Description: After performing the necessary hand seals Snake → Ram → Monkey → Boar → Horse → Tiger, a ninja inhales air, and utilizing a large amount of fire chakra, spews a large fireball from their mouth after blowing through a ring made by the thumb and index finger of the user, incinerating everything in range. The fireball ignites externally.

A technique where chakra kneaded inside the body is converted into fire, and expelled from the mouth either as a massive orb of roaring flame or as a continuous flame-thrower. The scope of the attack is altered by controlling the volume of chakra that is mustered. The released flames will engulf their target, and leave a crater on the ground's surface.*Alright, perform the Horse → Tiger or Snake → Ram or Tiger → Monkey → Boar → Horse → Tiger handseals. Channel the chakra to your stomach, then proceed to mold it into fire. Upon releasing it, manipulate it's shape to form a large fireball.

(Katon: Kimuchi Amura ) - Fire Release: Wall of Flames

Description: The user first throws out a lighter that has an open flame.The user the turns the flame into a wall of fire used for protection or to burn small objects thrown towards him. This jutsu can be used with Hurricane Fist to create a combo jutsu.

*Hands you a lighter*. Gather your chakra then through the lighter in front of you, be sure that the flame is open. Manipulate the chakra you have gathered, make it take focus on the existing fire from the lighter. With enough concentration, use the chakra to increase the intensity of the flame, do this will manipulating it's shape to form a wall. This is good for close range taijutsu-only users, but it has several disadvantages since you can't see what's going on in front of you, and it leaves an opening for the opponent to use a wind technique.
