the whole chapter is full of OBVIOUS ERRORS. this isnt like some typo on an essay. this is a blatant blunder that any follower of naruto will realize
im sure kishi knows the storyline is bullshit, but hes gonna go along with it anyway and all you dickriders will stay on board worshipping him and trying to defend him

Well, I'm okay with MInato's face in the background, because it's a minor mistake.
However, the whole chunin exam is a huge plot hole - at the time Kakashi passed it, Guy, Obito, Rin and all these should still be in the academy. This is what bugs me.

Just no. The manga is not a draft for the anime. The anime is a corruption of the manga. When you destroy Konoha in a filler and make it possible for something that was supposed to be impossible to happen, also in a filler, thats when I get mad. Its true that you can correct some mistakes that were in the manga in the anime but like I said, the anime is a corruption.

I never saw it as that big of a deal, though i don't see how they could have messed up like that. I mean fans caught it right after reading the manga. I noticed right away, I'm surprised they didn't before the manga release.
I don't think I've ever seen the hokage mountain without all 4 kages on it. Maybe they drew it like that because they hadn't ever drawn it without all 4 before.

Minato was selected to be 4th hokage - but because of tensions and the threat of war, Minato was to stay in the battlefield while the 3rd remained in power.
After the war, Minato would be hokage.
Obito knew that Minato was chosen to be hokage... So when Obito said "I want to be hokage" ... he knew that Minato was next so he imagined his sensei's face on the mountain... who cares if it's the same face that's actually there.
Also, think of it the same way as Konahamaru saying to Tsunade and others: "I'm going to be the 7th hokage!"
Others: "What, 7th???"
Konahamaru: "Naruto is going to be the 6th hokage"
Also notice that Obito had JUST lost a fight. Rin was patching his injuries and probly offering kind words.
Then Obito says: "Don't worry - I'm an Uchiha" --- "I'm going to be hokage after Minato" --- "Can't you see my smiley face next to Sensei on that mountain?"
