He has MS,you know, the thing that lets you control biju. How can a 14 year old fight a hokage? Itachi beat Oro at the same age. Obviously someone trained him an entire year for that night.

I think Madara trained him, which would explain his sudden power boost and how he knows the uchiha story, can control kurama, and possibly why he was able to use mangekyo within the short time and possibly why he had 2 eyes

That and/or senju dna :ice:

why are you guys underestimate uchiha? so far, they're the quickest when it comes to the fact that they're learning...

maybe installing his eye to a skilled ninja even pressed his skills further...

Last time I checked, Tobi was the cause of Minato and his wife's deaths while he lived to see another day. In my book that's Minato's loss.

that's in your book....

minato sacrificed himself to rescue the whole leaf from being crushed by the fox...he protected and saved the new generation including itachi and sasuke's ass...

Seriously, if Obito really is Tobi, mind and all, only one thing could make it worse. The reason why he got so powerful in a year's ****ing time. I suspect that reason is going to be that he locked himself in his alternate dimension for a long period of time, and trained by himself there to get stronger. Kind of like DBZ and the thing Vegeta and Trunks and people trained in that made time go by slow. I think that would be the stupidest reasoning ever as to why Obito could get so strong in a year, but I don't see any other way it is possible.

Also, to everyone who thinks Madara trained Obito...Madara did not ****ing train Obito, so that is out. Madara was not alive 17-16 years ago, he just wasn't, everyone get over it. Madara said himself he died shortly after he awakened his Rinnegan, and we know he gave his Rinnegan to Nagato when Nagato was a child. So even if a couple years passed between Madara awakening his Rinnegan and giving it to Nagato, after he gave it to Nagato he would have died pretty much right away, or shortly after. He gave his Rinnegan to Nagato, according to my calculations, 46 years ago. Obito was no where near born yet, so Madara was definitely NOT ALIVE 16 years ago. Madara didn't train Obito. Obito probably trained by himself, in his stupid alternate dimension. It was even said that time doesn't exist in that dimension, if I remember correctly. So in theory he could just stay in there however long he wants and train. This also would explain why his body looked much older during the Kyuubi attack than Kakashi or Guy's...since his body would still age even if he trained in his Kamui world.

I really hope this is not why Obito could get so strong in such a short amount of time, it would be such a ****ing lame reason if it is.

I agree with the general concept of what your saying but nagato was around the same age as narutos dad . Everyone seems to forget is nagato and his friends were refugees of the 2nd great ninja war kakashi an his group fought in the 3rd. So the age gap in bigger than we think.

In Naruto chapter 601 you see Obito and an old Madara in the end and Madara says to Obito that they are between to world of the living and the dead. I think that in that "between place" time passes in a different rate and it was there obito got brainwashed and trained by Madara.

Look at how much Sasuke grew in a year with Orochimaru as his tutor now look at Obito but with Madara as his tutor simple as that.

Exactly, +rep.

Tobi can only stay intangible for 10 minutes. This is proven during the fight against Konan. When Tobi becomes intangible it means parts of his body are in the other dimension.

In conclusion, Tobi can only stay in his dimension for 10 minutes max, so no, he can't have stayed in there for ages and trained.

It's simple madara did train obito didnt u see an old man with a sharigan that was obviously madara and why do u have to believe madara when he said he died he's a "villain" and you should never trust one entirely also that space time thing of obito training there may not be the case. i think obito may have awakened his ms due to that very near death situation and there is is huge amazing power up to face minato but im still nit sure how he was the same height as minato during that fight so ...
