Basically those rocks falling on his head turned him from a good boy to a war startin motha foka hellbent on initiating infinite tsukoyomi and reviving the jubi.

Funnily enough if you remember in dragonball baby goku was sent to earth to destroy it basically he would have been evil but luckily as he crash landed he fell and hit his head on a rock and has been a hero protecting the world from evil bastards who want to destroy it so if you think about it goku would have been like tobi had he not hit his head on a rock and obito would not only be alive but also he'd have been a good boy had he not pushed kakashi out of the way of the falling rocks getting crushed to death in the process.

There you have it damn those rocks.LOL instead of saying damn that orochimaru or damn that kabuto why didn't tobi aka obito say damn those rocks!
