[Discussion] who has the saddest history?

I'd say itachi takes the cake,he got it the worst, he was able to grow up with his loving family, only to have to kill the all, and all the other clansmen, cudnt kill his brother, and was considered a traitor forever in the history of konoha, even though he was actually a hero for stopping an even bigger massacre

I just want to know from the people in NB who they think that has the saddest history in Naruto.... Is it Nagato ,Naruto ,Itachi, Sasuke,or Jiraya?

I think it's between Gaara and Sasuke. I mean, probably Sasuke, because Gaara's life got better, but Sasuke still has a pretty rough life.

Kakashi's story isn't the saddest out there, but I think it's at least as sad as Sasuke's.
He should definitely be on the list.

1) His mother dies when he is very young, possibly he doesn't even remember her.
2) His father committed suicide when Kakashi was like 7.
3) All of his friends die... or so he thought...
4) Until finding out that the one he looked up to the most became corrupted and is the mastermind behind the current war.

Seriously, Obito was Kakashi's role model. Now, after discovering Tobi's Obito, it's almost the same for Kakashi as losing his whole identity.

For Sasuke it only got worse.

For gaara I won't speak but itachi ... Jesus man... Itachi had to kill his entire clan mother and father all for the sake of the village... He cried if front of his parents because he didn't want to kill them;((... And as it was too much for him he couldn't kill his brother..... Besides he had a disease ... And still fought sasuke so that sasuke would get his revenge.... And in the end he died and the only happiness he got was being killed by the one he loved the most..Itachi probably regretted almost every action he took in life...... Man itachi was one of the greatest shinobi there existed... Kage level!!!

Why even bother adding Itachi?

It was his choice to kill his own clan, family and friends. It was his own choice to put the village above all else knowing full well what kind of people they were (Danzo + Elders). It was his own choice to join Akatsuki. It was also his own choice to torment his little brother. He didn't HAVE to do any of that.

Feel pity for Itachi...? like hell. He's a dumbass who had a stupid idea and did stupid things for his own sake of whats right or wrong. When the smoked cleared his whole plan was flawed from the beginning and things would probably be much better had he not sided with the village but his own family.

Most sad history? Probably Sasuke, going by loss alone the guy has had to experience the worst things in life. He's also been mindf**ked a couple of times.

After Sasuke I'd put Kakashi up there, however awesome the guy is he's carrying around alot of baggage.

OP just says saddest history.

His father killed himself. He blamed himself for years over the death of Obito. He feels responsible for whatever happened to Rin. He blames himself for the way Sasuke turned out. Etc. He's had a rough past.

IMO its wrong to bring Naruto & Gaara in this discussion because even though they had a very sad childhood, their popularity in their village is higher than anyone at the present moment. One is a kage and the other is, well, a recognized hero after defeating Pain !
