After all this Tobi madness in the manga I think we need a break :ice: let's sit back and enjoy the anime. Hopefully today's episode is a good one xd

There are a lot of epic battles that are about to take place in the war and as this is the anime section we need somewhere to discuss about it!

Please also state any mistakes the anime might have made to clear up any misconceptions quickly.​

Well, the episode's fine. Still staying true to the chapters so far. However, I've felt that Kurama, along with the other Tailed Beasts, will have to go after the war (that is, if Konoha will want Naruto as a Hokage, then Kurama will have to die or something since no Kage were reported to be Jinchuriki at the appointment of their position [except Gaara]). Anyways, the episode really captured the visual prowess of the chapter portrayal, and the flashbacks are, as always, as good as gold.

The episode was good, 4/5 reason being we need episodes like this once in a while the action is important which was delivered last episode but Naruto is not all about action. The struggle of the shinobi world and all the hatred which comes from it is also a big part of the Naruto series. Some aspects of these problems can even be seen in real life which is what I think Kishi is trying to show in his whole series.

I don't know if it was a good idea for Kishi to show signs of Sasuke having hatred before the naruto series started. I think it was better when he developed it when he met up with itachi the second time.

Nine tails chakra mode has been looking good in recent episodes, good to see.

Loved it! His talk with Kurama was brilliant. Only that I didn't kinda like it how they made Kurama when he speaks.

Have to confess that at the end when he tells Kurama it will bear his hatred as well, there were some few tears here and there in the corner of my eyes.

What? I don't know about that man, the tailed beast have been there since the sage's time till now why would they have to go? Being a Jinjurki has nothing to do with being a kage or not as you can see gaara was a kage, they don't not make someone a kage because they are a jinjuriki it is just that they normal select a skillful shinobi who will survive with the tailed beast inside them so they can use them to enhance their millatary strength. Naruto can become a hokage with kurama inside him.

But yh I agree the episode was decent

It's funny because you didn't like last weeks episode which has a lot of action, do you prefer heartfelt moments instead of action?

And it's very awkward trying to animate a tailed beast talking they have the same problem with the 8 tails as well.

Yh that was a very touching moment, I smiled and thought same old Naruto.

One of the better episodes so far for sure! I didn't care much when I read it in the manga but this episode really was amazing.

This war has been going great so far and can't wait to see more !

Gaara became a kage though, regardless that he was a jinchuriki. The leaf village already respects and loves Naruto after he defended it from Pain. Honestly I believe he will be the next hokage (regardless of his age)

the animations in this episode was amazing and i would give it a 5/5 especially when the kyuubi and naruto was talking and also they did an amazing job finally on naruto chakra mode like the dude said in these past episode

Episode 280 will probably also be a filler episode. It sounds like a Deidara story and I don't quite recall that in the manga.

I'm gonna rate this episode 4/5. The episode on itself was good, the animation too, but the drawing seemed kinda weird sometimes. It's something with their head that's just ugly, not the whole episode but just some parts of it. Like their eyes are way bigger than usual or something. Maybe it's because I downloaded it in bad quality, I don't know.

Lol everyone noticed, it's not a fail basically it's really awkward to animate a tailed beast talking because they are so big and are well beats so their body features work different from a human.

They better find a way to make it look better soon because kurama is going to be playing much bigger roles later

I haven't watch the anime since the Pein's Invasion arc, but after reading these post. I felt like I should give it a chance. I watched it and it was amazing. I guess it's time I start reading and watching it huh?
