[Theory] How Obito Got Strong Enough to Face Minato, Etc;

Seriously, if Obito really is Tobi, mind and all, only one thing could make it worse. The reason why he got so powerful in a year's ****ing time. I suspect that reason is going to be that he locked himself in his alternate dimension for a long period of time, and trained by himself there to get stronger. Kind of like DBZ and the thing Vegeta and Trunks and people trained in that made time go by slow. I think that would be the stupidest reasoning ever as to why Obito could get so strong in a year, but I don't see any other way it is possible.

Also, to everyone who thinks Madara trained Obito...Madara did not ****ing train Obito, so that is out. Madara was not alive 17-16 years ago, he just wasn't, everyone get over it. Madara said himself he died shortly after he awakened his Rinnegan, and we know he gave his Rinnegan to Nagato when Nagato was a child. So even if a couple years passed between Madara awakening his Rinnegan and giving it to Nagato, after he gave it to Nagato he would have died pretty much right away, or shortly after. He gave his Rinnegan to Nagato, according to my calculations, 46 years ago. Obito was no where near born yet, so Madara was definitely NOT ALIVE 16 years ago. Madara didn't train Obito. Obito probably trained by himself, in his stupid alternate dimension. It was even said that time doesn't exist in that dimension, if I remember correctly. So in theory he could just stay in there however long he wants and train. This also would explain why his body looked much older during the Kyuubi attack than Kakashi or Guy's...since his body would still age even if he trained in his Kamui world.

I really hope this is not why Obito could get so strong in such a short amount of time, it would be such a ****ing lame reason if it is.

you know whats odd his height in that chapter when he was fighting minato was the same plus when minato attacked him his arm became all slimy but when naruto hit the same arm nothing happened his clother just ripped,a bit odd

But if time passes for him faster in Kamui world, then he would age faster. He's clearly still pretty young, Kakashi's age, in his revealing. Plus, Naruto betters himself by leaps and bounds because each of his clones are chipping into his own experience the same amount of time he himself puts in, so, if Naruto works 30 min with 30 clones, it's like he's worked 15 hours, and even he couldn't better himself by that amount that fast. There has to be a better explanation for his one year wherein he recovered from severe physical trauma, which, judging from Rock Lee's recovery, took at least a few months and some skilled surgeon, mastered Kamui, and went from barely Chunin to Super-Kage rank.

you can also ask how naruto become strong in just 1 or 2 years? from sage to bijuu mode.. and sasuke....

i think because someone help obito to become strong we don't know yet who is that person or maybe its zetsu?... obito is also an eye collector...how did he managed to have many sharingan eyes if he didn't kill that sharingan user( sharingan vs. sharingan). You can see that he is fighting and at the same time training himself to be able to collect those eyes until he awaken his MS.

Yeah I agree with that actually. Even though he would age faster though, he could still train for years and look like he does now. I mean if you think about it...jiraiya was 54 and still looked like he was around kakashis age. So it could be possible. And yeah I hope kishi comes up with an amazing explanation, cause as you said he was injured and had to heal, not to mention he would have to find another eye also since he gave kakashi one of his. Either way, there better be a better explanation you're right, I just thought that this could be a possibility, even though as someone said above, it is not very naruto like. But then again,after everything that happened so far I wouldn't be surprised about anything anymore .

Yeah, but why? You don't just go into a room by yourself and train for a year straight or longer. You've got to have a reason. How long did it take to brainwash Obito from being a good guy to being a bad guy? Subtract that time away and you're left with even less time to train.

I actually posted the math on that to Lola's Unbelievable thread. It appears that it was not only Obito that went toe-to-toe with Minato, but a 14-year-old one at that, judging by the age of Naruto as compared to Kakashi.

i have been thinking of this plot hole from the time when i thought there are two masked man.and this plot-hole denies the two masked man theory and minato fighting the original madara.but there is no explanation to obito theory if the masked man was not madara because obito couldn't fight madara.reasons are this:
don't u think obito can't reach minato level in just a few years..so this guy must be madara.madara could find kyuubi jinchuriki because kyuubi was his summon but this tobi sent kisame to find kyuubi jinchuriki.even minato thought he was madara,the former masked man didn't know minato had space time jutsu but obito knew.there is an obvious difference in the masked man character and this obito guy.
so i will still go with two masked man theory but i will wish to get an answer of this plot hole.good thinking dude.u read my mind.
