Tobi has formidable battle prowess against an entire village at the age of 14, claiming leadership in Akatsuki, leading Akatsuki and one side of a war, "co-founding" a war, fooling the whole world and even Akatuski about his motives and identity, ...seriously?

He did, indirectly. 13 year old Itachi wouldn't stand a chance against Konoha, while Tobi succeeded in causing one of the most deadliest attacks Konoha has ever had. It lost a Hokage, first lady, and countless lives, in one night because of Obito.

Allow me to stress my view on "the real Uchiha prodigy."

And as much as I dislike him, all the hints are pointing to Sasuke as the true successor of all doujutsu wielders.

From what we have seen so far the true prodigy of the Uchiha is Sasuke.

Whether due to DNA reasons or not Sasuke is extremely intelligent. Sasuke's learning curves are similar to Minato, in regards to him only having to see it a technique once and he understands the properties of it, and how it can be further advance and much more. He is a gifted tactician, as he will actually use the above to help him understands his opponents strengths and weaknesses, which allows him to win numerous battles that otherwise he should lose. And this is not even including his incredibly high charka levels and reserves.

Madara is the only Uchiha aside from Sasuke to have a ridiculously high charka levels and resides compared to other Uchiha. What this ultimately means is that he can spam a number of devastating doujutsu techniques before getting fatigued. However the huge thing that separates Madara and Sasuke is potential, is Sasuke's potential.

Sasuke's charka in particular is much more potent then Madara, which conclusively means, that Sasuke's potential is far greater than Madara's. Sasuke has the potential to become the strongest doujutsu wielder (apart from the Sage) that their ever was. He has the promise to rival the Elder Son in terms of overall power, but the intelligent to surpass the Elder Son and become something greater.

The greatest hint of all, is why does Tobi want to "stimulate" Sasuke with Naruto, when he has a plan that is supposed "to end it all?"

Sasuke was outed by Zetsu. Obito deliberately set it up so that Sasuke would be forced to fight each Kage. "I wanted Sasuke to weaken you" (paraphrased of course)

oh, i am sorry i must have missed the part where Obito fought against his enemies to the extent the landscape completely changed, for a moment it seemed like he caused some destruction in Konoha to which the shinobi present successfully responded and started pushing the kyubi out and that was before Minato intervened and eventually broke the kyubi free... and that happened before any serious damage was delivered. serious as 'was there a valley here before?'

no, it's due to Madara stealing it from Hashirama. exactly what Madara achieved with mokuton before his death hasn't been revealed yet. Kabuto just made sure to bring him back at his healthiest state which originally did not involve mokuton, but it was Madara who actually stole it and fused with it.

Madara was strong enough to become his clan's leader during battle-oriented times, and we have seen exactly what he is capable of in battle which far surpasses anything we have seen from Obito. and who exactly established Akatsuki... well, it could had been Madara. we will have to wait and see.

don't get me wrong, Obito is one of the strongest and most accomplished characters, but not the greatest or the best Uchiha. One of the top two/three for sure.

Obito awakened the MS at 13-14, and without having a "premium" set of MS eyes, took control of Kyuubi, attacked Konoha, outwitted Hiruzen and Minato, and brought about Minato and Kushinas' deaths. And did I mention the part about him leading Akatsuki for years, manipulating Nagato and everyone else including Sasuke, while fooling the world? Tops anything Sasuke's done.

How exactly do they compare to Obito(Tobi not used to calling him that yet) and his 6 bijuu's on top of him and his rinnengan. They would have been defeated easily by Naruto and team if they were in his position.

At 14 he attack and destroyed a good part of konoha resulting in Minato's death. At around 17 he slaughtered the Uchiha clan.
