As I've stated before with my last thread, I believe Tobi is Izuna using Obito's body....the manga left with a question whether it truly is Obito with a flashback of him, but I think kakashi will harbor more hatred if his friend's body was being used by someone else.

I believe Izuna found the body and did the Orochimaru transplant since he needed a younger body and it was that of an Uchiha, giving him the ability to awaken the sharingan and use it easier.

There are still too many reasons why it can't be truly Obito since he always talks about how long he's been waiting for revenge, even back when he fought Minato, which was about 2 years after Obito's death and how he also managed to give Minato a hard time considering that Obito died with having hardly any skill.

Also all the knowledge about jutsu, the past, and controlling the Kyuubi....there is just no way it's Obito using that body. Also the fact that Obito still has no clear motive for revenge. The most I could think is that he would have hatred toward kakashi, but Obito gave him his eye out of friendship and wasn't mad when he died.....it has to be someone else.

You do realize that I've always guessed that it was Obito's body, just not his mind right? Tobi still has yet to confirm his true identity so nothing's set in stone just yet.

Well I would assume he lived to be very very old lol considering that Madara did the same up to Nagato's birth.....or maybe he somehow was brought back from the dead, which is why he needed a new body and something to do with zetsu there? Idk

I just realized we're all frantically panicking about the prospect of Tobi turning out to be the most anti-climatic choice of identity, Obito. But what struck me is that we're all accepting that Tobi is Obito without a direct confession, without any sort of substantial proof but simply his mask being removed and a flashback which most likely came from Kakashi.

This chapter revealed almost nothing about who Tobi is, yes he has a resemblance to Obito but couldn't that be explained by Tobi being a relative of Obito e.g. Obito's Dad/Kagami Uchiha

Izuna Theorists are also still in the game, with Obito's body simply being the shell which holds his consciousness.

I'm not denial about Tobi being Obito but at the same time i will not blindly accept something without any form of substantial evidence.

Clearly kakashi and minato failed to protect Rin and allowed her to die (hidden coffin kabuto showed tobi contained rin) and this his him crushing "that idea of a shinobi"

why would anyone stole his crushed body? Stealing the sharingan yes, but his body?
And yes, i hate this, but i'm sure we will see an explanation in the next few episodes.
Personally i'm still very sceptical about this. How was he able to face the yondaime, how could he unlock such a strong kamui and a perfect izanaghi, why was everybody thinking (itachi for example) that he is madara, and he knows a lot about the konoha elders too - that they secretly ordered itachi to massacre the clan.

The body switching shit is Orochimaru's signature move...Kishi wont recycle moves like that. besides, how the hell could Izuna do it, if Orochimaru is the one who developed it.

People are jumping to conclusions. The manga showed us that it was Obito's body being used; it confirmed nothing else. The possibility remains that someone is using his body as a vessel. There's also a chance that there were two Tobis. In saying that, I hope it turns out to be Obito as a complete person, because then all the whining shitheads will finally clear off.
