Obito: The Underestimated.

A lot of people are freaking out upon reading the newest chapter.
Upon Tobi's face, many people are resorting to calling Kishimoto a troll.

In my opinion, this is the most badass reveal I have ever seen.

It makes perfect sense in some ways. Let me give you a comparison.
-Naruto was a boy who started weak. People doubted him. However, they did not recognize his potential. Look at how far Naruto has come along his path.
-Obito was the same kind of person. A clumsy, weak individual. He truly loved Rin. Kakashi was always one step ahead of him though. That's what sparked Obito's potential.

I can't express how much respect I have for Obito now. Truly, the most badass villain I have ever seen. Kishimoto is not a troll. He is a genius.

You can't tell me that looking at Obito's determination, how far he has come, and what measures he has taken to accomplish his form of justice, that he is not in any way badass. Just look at this dude...

I can understand if you don't feel the same way.
I can imagine that if you had thought of Obito as a weak character it wouldn't make sense, hence lowering the BA factor.

We just have different preferences. To me, he is now my favorite character considering how far he has come.

Nice thread. I like that he has something of the aura of pain. (deva path) also a cool designed villain, not like orochimaru who is a great villain but wears clothes that are not worth wearing and this huge knot on his back. have the exact same opinion like you

I think that it awesome that Obito is Tobi..gives a totally interesting and twisted plot. Really upset though how Kishimoto when about the it though cause if you look back at previous manga's it doesn't make sense...in the manga when Tobi fight's then fourth Hokage he's a man but Kakashi is still a boy...not very well put together there. Was happy and disappointed in the reveal.

Yeah people are just mad because they did not think of it.
To be honest the answer was looking people right in their face but most people refused to believe why?
Because they thought it would be way to obvious it would not make sense.
I think it is good that obito is tobi because now we can learn why and how we dont know his motivation.

he is basically a mirror of naruto.

For me it didn't give me respect for Obito but rather Tobi lost respect from me. I thought he would be some mysterious old guy who had experienced war and pain but ended up being stereotype Uchiha messed up kid Sasuke 2.0 aka Obito. It's funny cause directly after Tobi was revealed to not be Madara, I thought he was Obito. Then when I started thinking about who he was logically I just got further and further away from the truth. Guess that first feeling usually is right after all..

You got it right in there. Now it is of no wonder of why Minato could beat Tobi and I am pretty sure he would do the same again if they were to fight again.
Tobi should be on average Kakashi's level but it doesn't seem that way. If this revelation is really true then I believe that white Zetsu has lot more than meets the eye because I am pretty sure Obito didn't know not even half of much he knows today and he wasn't even living in the village but still knew every single thing about it.

BTW Otibo has accomplished amazing feats such as controlling Kyuubi and beating the bests of AMBU in no time when he was just a teen...

well he is badass if he has learned so much from just brainwashing by madara...hahahhaa.to hell with this toddler,how can he be so mean,he died a hero and wanted peace but right now he is making a war.honestly i believe this guy shouldn't be a villain.he doesn't fit in the story.i am not mad because my theory came wrong or obito fans won over me,its just that how the hell is he so evil.why did he become evil.kishimoto must give me a good explanation.not simple reasons like obito was mad over rin's dead or was brainwashed by madara.
