Well I'm bored and for some reason I have the urge to share my views of who I think is in the top 10. I will try and put them in order, but remember this is my opinion (not that opinion means crap to anyone of NB :shrug
. I no people will disagree which is all fine, but please try to at least give my view a chance and don't just face palm me. I will explain why I have chosen these characters in order for you guys to understand my reasoning's. I'd appreciate constructive criticisms, instead of flaming and fanboyism. So here goes nothing.
My top 10:
1. Madara Uchiha - Well Edo version is definitely the strongest considering he has Wood release too. However even without Hashirama's cells he still possesses the EMS and Rinnegan. Perfect Susanoo rivals the power of tailed beasts and addition Madara can drop meteors from the sky. That should automatically make him number 1 imo. Thank goodness he doesn't still possess the 9 tails.
2. Hashirama Senju - As much as I hate to buy into hype I don't have much of a choice with this guy, all the hype, all the praise, even edo madara with all his power still recons Hashirama is the only one that can stop him. The guy suppresses chakra too (apparently) and tamed tailed beasts like pets. His strength was even said to rival Tsunade's I think and he is a healer too. That's pretty hard core, not to mention his wood release; a very unique ability indeed that everyone wants a sample of his DNA - that tells me that wood release must be pretty damn amazing. Also what people forget to take into consideration is the fact that Hashirama still has Earth and Water release that we haven't even seen yet.
3. Naruto Uzumaki - The main character, therefore 99% of his battles will be won by plot (xd come on you know its true). In all seriousness Naruto has undergone a passive power boost. He's become a perfect host to the strongest tailed beast and can now use the Bijuu ball as his primary attack. His chakra levels are enormous and each KM clone is like kage level on its own. He also mastered senjutsu and has one of the most powerful summons in the narutoverse of the toads. With his chakra reserves he can summon all the toads he needs for back up, Gamabunta on his own is close to rivaling the strength of a tailed beast too. Naruto also has the most powerful wind jutsu in the series as well as being the fastest shinobi alive now.
4. Minato Namikaze - Yes he's my favourite but for good reason. He's arguably the most deadliest shinobi I've ever witnessed in the series. He's the fastest shinobi that ever lived (doesn't get much faster than instant), not just with FTG but his base speed was also incredibly fast considering the way he caught a baby Naruto in mid air. He was called a prodigy, one that appeared once in a generation (Jiraya's words). Even A said he was thought to be unsurpassable, as well as Kakashi also saying that Naruto is the only ninja that can surpass him, not only this but Minato had flee on sight orders from the hidden rock village for goodness sake. I've always felt that high Intelligence is the most dangerous tool for a shinobi to have, Minato created the Rasengan just from observing the tailed beat bomb; he discovered the weakness to kakashi's chidori after seeing it once and then defeated the main villain of the manga after coming up with the weakness to Tobi's jutsu all in a matter of a couple of minutes while it's currently take Naruto, Guy, kakashi and Bee like 20 chapters. He stopped the 9 tails from destroying the village and saved son all in the same day. All that was done in a couple hours.
5. Tobi - (Keep in mind this is Rinnegan Tobi). First of all he posses the Mangekyou and Rinnegan just like Madara so I have to put him in top 5. However what really makes him so high is his space/time jutsu. Unless his opponent has space/time ninjutsu there isn't much hope of defeating him without preparation (Konan prepared for who knows how long and still lost). I don't really consider the 6/7 tailed beasts as his or the Gedo mazo, however they are still part of his arsenal so in order to face him you will need a team of powerhouses/OP summonings and at least one s/t jutsu user to defeat him. I don't think it's possible to defeat current Tobi single handedly. Without Gedo and the tailed beasts he is still a force to be reckoned with because of his OP Kamui.
6. Nagato - He possessed the Rinnegan and could use all 6 abilities of the 6 paths of Pain at once. He also had the ability to use all 5 chakra elements. His almighty push is powerful enough to destroy an entire village and his planetary devastation is strong enough to contain a tailed beast (damn). The only down side to him is that fact that his legs became crippled and therefore made him a lot more vulnerable. However his bird summons make up for this and speaking of his summons, he has some pretty powerful animal summons, especially the dogs that split into 2 when cut, that thing is a pain. You will need a lot of fire power, intelligence and OP summons of your own to beat Nagato.
7. Itachi Uchiha - You may wonder why he is above EMS Sasuke, well I believe Itachi is more Intelligent/smarter, Faster, skillful is debatable because Sasuke is also very skilled. The most important factor that puts Itachi above Sasuke is that his jutsu are more overpowered that Sasuke's. His Tsukuyomi far surpasses Sasuke's genjutsu and what really puts Itachi so high is the Totsuka blade. One slash and its over for the opponent, I mean see how easily he defeated Nagato, the Totsuka blade really is a one shot. Besides this Itachi is gifted, I feel he was the closest to Minato before he died in terms of overall skill and ability. I can never underrate Itachi no matter how much I don't like the Uchiha.
8. Sasuke Uchiha - He is the second uchiha to possess the EMS, he's like quarter to a half of Madara's power so he has to be top 10. The guy can now spam Susanoo and Amaterasu with no care in the world. He's also a genius and very intelligent in battle, the opponent's he's faced and come out alive each time is undoubtedly remarkable, ie Orochimaru, Deidara, Itachi, Killer Bee, and the 5 Kage as well as Kabuto. Of course I know some of those fights weren't entirely legit but the fact that he's still alive obviously means he's top class. With the EMS that has put him in an entirely new league compared to when he fought Bee or was at the kage summit.
9. Killer Bee - Why, because he's a perfect host to the second strongest tailed beast. He can use the Bijuu ball no problem at all, he uses lightning style and is pretty skilled at it I guess since he's A's brother and all. In fact I think Killer Bee is the best swordsman in the Narutoverse. His seven swords dance is kind of unbeatable when up against any other swordsman because it's too unpredictable; even the sharingan cannot follow it. The guy also has ink sealing jutsu and his Lariat is > the Fourth Raikage. Killer B is also definitely in the top 5 fastest shinobi alive right now. I had to put Killer B on my list especially due to this blasphemy thread I saw of Killer B where people were saying he is useless and that Hidan can beat him :sy:. Does perfect host mean nothing to people, I think he is severely underrated; I mean Akatsuki still haven't captured him yet and the guy is an idiot at times - that says a lot?!?
10. Kakashi Hatake - Yes I know most people aren't going to like this but tough. The Kakashi I've seen in recent chapters deserves to be here, Kishi finally gave him his time in the spot light and boy does he deserve it; now I understand some people can't handle how much Kakashi has risen and will stop at nothing to deny how haxx he is now. I don't think I need to tell you about his over 1000 jutsu as well as having 3 elements and having the sharpest piercing technique alive. Now he can spam Kamui at least (emphasis on at least) 4 times a day even after using shadow clones, lighting blades and a bunch of other jutsu. Whether people like it or not Kamui is a one shot and the only person that can counter it is Tobi. Even Kakashi said he's never seen anybody counter it so far. I guess a space/time jutsu user like Minato or Tobirama could escape it too but not counter it of course.
Honorable mentions go to Kabuto, because I don't count impure world Resurrection he just misses out on top 10. Plus Itachi didn't even want to kill him when they fought yet he was still defeated. The 3rd Raikage is also up there, the guy is a living breathing tank and can even challenge tailed beasts on his own. Mu and Ohnoki are also pretty top tier and just miss out.
