Samsung Vs Apple Trial

Samsung did create a lot of phones that look very similar to the iPhone. However apple is a troll with all these crap patents (they got a patent for the wedge shape of the MacBook air I think). Overall I think that this will hurt apple more than Samsung because apple, as much as some people hate to believe, is not at the lead anymore or at least is not far aged of some competitors. But apple deserves to win this patent war based in the infringements.

I know I sound contradictory. Apple should not win because of crap patent trolling but they should win because of Samsung infringements on major design patents.

The copyright system in America has gotten out of hand. Now major companies just buy all the patents they can so they can have a larger patent portfolio. Then they constantly sue competitors and whoever has the biggest patent portfolio wins. I'm not saying Samsung didn't commit infringement of some sort, but the ridiculousness of this case is an argument for patent reform.

I agree with you but if anything Mitsabish (spell check) should be suing the pants off Apple for steal their multi-touch technology.

Back around 1988 Apple attempted to sue Microsoft because parts of Microsoft's GUI were similar to Apple's. In the end the case was thrown out but not before Xerox came along and added that Apple's GUI was also a partial copy of Xerox's.

Apple's original target was google, because google supports android OS which Apple believes is a 'Stolen' product.So in order to tackle google, Apple wanted to damage all the phone companies that used Android devices. Apple first picked on a 'easy' foreign company, which was Samsung.
