As we saw last chapter, Tobi's mask was shattered but we were unable to see who was behind it. Kishi has milked the living hell out of this guy and I think many of you will agree with me when I say that the main reason most of us want to know who it is, is so its legit, we know, its confirmed and we can get on with other newer important story lines such as Orochimaru and Sasuke, Madara and the kages.
Well my first main point is probably the strongest. On the 31st July 2012, many websites uploaded the interview where Kishi clearly states that "Tobi’s identity should be revealed within the next couple of weeks" (Sayian Island, 2012). Now this was almost a month ago which means that Kishi really cant take more then a month to reveal this, or i would imagine he could lose credibility. Now one could argue that Tobi has been revealed through subtle hints such as his MS (which is the same as Kakashi's) and his ability to use Kamui (just like Kakashi) but nothing has actually been confirmed yet. For all we know, the freaking Ramen guy followed Team Minato to Kannabi bridge and waited for them to leave before desecrating Obito's body. So Kishi kinda has a deadline to meet with this as he stated weeks, not "he should be revealed next month" and the only chapter left before next month is 599.
My second point is suspense. Like i mentioned earlier, Kishi has literally milked Tobi's identity so much that I'm suprised nobody has gone to Japan and forced him to reveal it. He has set the story up into basically three different scenarios which are: Madara vs 5 Kages, Tobi vs Naruto, and Sasuke and Orochimaru. Now he carefully spent time on each of these scenarios I believe so that he could allow himself some time to reveal Tobi's identity. I believe that it's highly unlikely that he'll have Chapter 599 about any of these scenarios other than Naruto vs Tobi because like i said, he's allocated time so that he can reveal it. One of my biggest points in this argument is that the last panel had Tobi's mask shattering off his face, and to somehow troll us tomorrow would almost be insulting. He could possibly be buying time until we get to Chapter 600 but I have a feeling 600 will be a flashback and revelations will be revealed hard.
My third point is this. If he doesn't reveal Tobi's identity it's likely that most of the base will cry out for the blood of Kishimoto.
Now this is all my opinion so take it as you will and discuss. Do any of you think otherwise?
