And if not, please explain wind as both a real substance and in respect to the rest of the Narutoverse elements.

"Wind chakra nature is the use of movement to create violent currents in the air that can be used to sharpen chakra blades, create whirlwinds of air or even combine with other elements such as fire to strengthen them. Wind nature is superior to lightning but inferior to fire in terms of the elements, but it can be combined well with jutsu of almost any element. It is a element that is very well suited to direct frontal attack and force."

(Wind in real life terms is just the movement of air particles from points of high pressure to points of lower pressure, which we experience because of the build up and break down of gasses in the atmosphere due to photosynthesis and respiration, plus other environmental factors. Wind has the same effect as when you open up a vacum pack and it fills with air, the particles try and reach a balance where the pressure is equal on both sides. This is also similar to osmosis in biology and almost any physics process where there are two opposites. Nature always abhors a vacum.)

Since Fuuton chakra is achieved by trying to stimulate your chakra into an infinite number of infinitesimally thin blades...

Run your chakra though the paper will trying to make your chakra take on those properties. If done properly, the paper will be sliced in half.

This jutsu requires no handseals.

Preformed quite simply, you'll focus your Fuuton chakra into the air, and then direct it forward, creating a gust strong enough to blow forth the loose earth particles.

Mainly useful in blocking low lightning techniques, or blinding an opponent, the ability to make a surface unstable works minimally, at best.

He then focuses his chakra into the palm of his right hand before swinging in in front of him in a quick but fluid motion, causing a gust of wind that kicks up the sand in front of him.*

Description: User creates a wall of spinning wind in front of him that is used to push back weapons thrown towards him. It can also be used against taijutsu close range attacks, but the wall can be pushed back with a stronger wind jutsu or if a smoke bomb or explosive tag touches the spinning wind they will automatically get activated because of the sharpness of the wind element, damaging the user also.

This jutsu does not require handseals.

This jutsu works quite simply: Focusing your fuuton chakra in front of you, and making it rotate, you'll create a "wall" of spinning wind currents; the speed of the wind will deflect items and people (within reason, obviously this won't stop massive jutsu that are more powerful). The slicing nature helps damage close combat users, as well, but as noted, it does have it's draw backs.

Description: This technique allows the user to change direction in mid-air at high speeds by simply blowing wind out their mouth. The user can also use this technique by blowing it at the ground and causing a dust cloud to rise, concealing the users location and movement.

A simple technique that you'll likely use throughout your RP carrier, this simple technique has saved me many-a-time. This jutsu is great for dodging techniques while you're in the air, and for also avoiding the common Moving Earth Core + Swamp of the Underworld Combo, by simply propelling yourself over it before you fall.

It works simply: focus your chakra into your lungs, and as you blow out, use your chakra to increase the force of your breath by a tremendous rate.

And...sorry to do this, but if you want to seek out another Sensei (though, I'd still require you drop training with me), I'd understand, as I don't think my response speed is going to increase.

*Kami takes a long rope and ties it to his belt and then slings the other end over a tree, suspending him just above ground. As he swings he then focuses his chakra in his chest and the concentrates on his lungs. Kami then begins to blow out his mouth, slowly at first and then in one big gust as he brings his chakra up and out his chest through his throat.*

*As his chakra is released with his breath, the force of the blow violently pushes Kami in the opposite direction, and he slows the flow of air to avoid hitting the tree behind him. Kami then practices blowing with his chakra in many directions and intensities, until he perfects the ability to direct his movement while midair.*

A simple enough technique: you'll focus your chakra and direct it forward; the gust of wind will pick up any loose stones in the vicinity, and you'll "curve" the wind to make it go upwards as it nears the opponent, lifting them into the air.

*Upon his sensei's order Kami, adopts his focus stance, his left leg in front of him and his fists secured tightly at his waist. Kami draws his left arm forward with his palm open and outstretched, focusing his chakra to create a small torrent of wind that circles within his grasp. As the intensity of the torrent grows Kami then thrusts forward with his left palm, causing the torrent of wind to be forced forward and then upwards, creating a stream of wind that lifts up nearby rocks and forces them upwards with the current, hitting Kami's target at about chest height.*

*Kami repeats this two step motion continuously until he is able to accurately direct the flow of the wind torrent and control its power. After mastering this stage he begins attempting to perform it with just his right hand and then rapidly alternate between both creating swift volleys of wind, sending rocks flying around him.*
