Who are your favorite underground artist/bands??? I mean any genre and it can be international music J-pop, K-rock, etc. Even ones on a major label if you feel they are not mainstream and still considered underground.

Feel free to post song names or vids so everyone can check out your favorites.

I prefer Mf Doom, Cerebral Ballzy, Fail Safe, Quasimoto just to name a few.

Sugar glyder is the best underground band. 200 youtube views FTW! Besides that there's HORSE the band, 100deadrabbits, dance gavin dance, matchbook romance, crystal castles (they're getting popular now) and Dungeon Elite**

Edit: how could i forget Elliott Smith, Neutral Milk Hotel, Interpol, Dinosaur Jr, Siouxsie and the Banshees, New Order (popular but still "indie"), Sonic Youth, My Bloody Valentine, Sunny Day Real Estate, The Fall of Troy, and so many more.
