Lol, Itachi clearly wins. Kakashi can't even use his signature jutsu (raikiri) without the Sharingan. Itachi has better, handseal speed, intelligence, taijutsu not to mention more experience.

I do believe that Kakashi's older and has had as many if not more battles than Itachi giving him more experience. And Itachi and Kakashi are pretty well rounded but Itachi has the edge in genjutsu and shurikenjutsu but other than that this is a draw. They both rely on their sharingan abilities so taking that away from them put em both at half power, evenly. They both have intelligence, speed, and phenomenal taijutsu as well as ninjutsu so to give either character the victory is biased.

Sharingan Itachi > Sharingan Kakashi
No Sharingan Itachi = No Sharingan Kakashi

Yeh thats true, hopefully Itachi doesn't get caught in that d rank genjutsu or else I would quit watching Naruto. D rank jutsu's are intended for genins.

Take away Kakashi's Sharingan and what does he have left.... Oh that's right over 1000 ninjutsu left. His speed is on par with Itachi's and both have equal intelligence, I sway more to Kakashi because of his analytical skills, don't think anyone is better than him in that department, not even Shikamaru.

Kakashi has 3 elements and can use water to counter Itachi's fire and earth to cancel Itachi's water.

I say Kakashi wins high diff. Not saying Itachi is useless without Sharingan but he certainly isn't spectacular. Kakashi arsenal is much too great I think.

Both kakashi and itachi are quite even,

Nin:
Itachi: 5
Kakashi: 5

Tai:
Itachi: 4.5
Kakashi: 4.5

Gen: (isn't a major factor here)
itachi: 5
Kakashi: 4

Strength:
Itachi : 3.5
Kakashi: 3.5

As you can see they're quite even in terms of combat skills and the shinobi arts.

Itachi only has a .5 higher speed, so their speed isn't worlds apart imo.

Also they both have 5 in intelligence.

So people saying Itachi is Smart/better at Tai need to rethink, Their intelligence levels are even in my books, Both are very tatical and analytical.

Now you guys are using the whole age/experience crap? Thats why neji beat kidomaru in part 1 right who had way more experience than neji and age

experience means and a excuse wen it comes to both itachi and kakashi.

Anyway i lean towards itachi for my own personal. Reasons but kakashi can also take this too.

Even without sharingan he still has 3 elements and his versality is stil there.Take off Kakashi's sharingan and it'll transform into a mixt of Hiruzen/Gai.Kakashi will still have his gates to take a huge advantage in strengh and taijutsu ,speed are about equal if we talk about current Kakashi,if it's kakashi part 1 Itachi is slightly faster.
Elmental ninjutsu we have itachi with suiton and katon ,Kakashi with suiton,raiton and doton.

doton > suiton
raiton > suiton
suiton > katon

so kakashi would demolish itachi at ninjutsu

about genjutsu,without sharingan itachi can still cast good genjutsu but Kakashi too.Itachi's got litle advatange in genjutsu because we saw more genjutsu from him.

Even without sharingan Kakshi is still more versatile and still smarter than Itachi.His strengh and use of gates wiill overwhelmed Itachi in taijutsu,let alone ninjutsu.Only chance for Itachi is his genjutsu but it's a dream to get an ninja like Kakashi with that genjutsu level.

Kakashi take this mid at best.

And we cannot trust itachi's tsukuyomi that he showed to sasuke, itachi was lying to sasuke from the start, He could of easily showed him that he killed them with shurikens when by actual fact tobi could of killed them or itachi could of killed them by other means.
Itachi had every reason to lie to sasuke and show sasuke what itachi wanted him to think happened.
