You need to understand a Master has always got the best chance of defeating there student. Jiraiya didnt even go full power at the start because he was trying to figure out the secrets of Pain all the way threw the fight then he did discover the secret of a Pain path and managed to kill it in the end. I believe Jiraiya would beat the 5 second interval for the Deva Path because of his speed. If Jiriaya did know the secrets of Pain he would have a had a great chance of defeating all the Paths of Pain. Im not saying Nagato is stupid he has good intelligence but Itachis intelligence and intellect is on another level. Nagato has more battle experience than Itachi and he has the most powerfull occular eye but thats the advantages hes got to beat Itachi.

Itachi is strong but Rinnegan is obviously stronger, Itachi could probably survive with Susanno but if Nagato uses Human path or Tendo than he is done for...other than that the sword of Totsuka could pwn again. But that is it.

would be easy for uchihas. while the stakes link the body
