Break a friendship

Wait, are we talking about friends on Facebook? And them getting angry because you took them off your friends list? Well, that one is ludicrous... It's the Goddamn intarwebz. I couldn't give a **** less about that. And I have.... (checking)....... 710 people on my Facebook. And I only know maybe 1/4th that, and only 1/2 of that 1/4th are actual friends of mine....

On a side not, add me on Facebook! I promise not to shit a brick if you delete me!

Has anyone on narutobase broken a friendship after you have befriended someone. If so how mad did the person get and do you avoid said person.

Just curious if anybody has actually done this.

Irl i was this chicks best friend, she was one of those people that constantly gets rejected and ostricized by her peers but at the same time she does things to perpetuate that otricism.
Anyway she would always think the world was against her and get pissed over stupid things, and would always talk about how everyone has stabbed her in the back, including me, and then one day I just couldn't take it anymore and stopped talking to her altogether until one day after like a month she wouldn't leave me alone. I told her that i was done with her. She told me hoped I caught AIDS and died. Haven't spoken to her since.

so...did you get those aids?

Well, I have had it happen to me many times... That's the life of a drug addict, though. Since I got clean, I have made amends with all but 1, and that one is just not gonna get any better.

I was a drug addict, and a God awful friend. I don't think there are many reasons to end a friendship, but I'd say that one is.

I've done it before. Doesn't really bother me if someone does it to me.

No, I'm honestly not trolling this time. I've talked about my drug addiction on here before. I am heavily addicted to opioid narcotics. Oxycontin, morphine, Dilaudid, Opana, Hydrocodone, etc. It ate up 3 years of my life, and destroyed my relationships with everyone I knew, and cared about. Not to mention the money... Started selling to provide for my own habit. It's a sick, ****ed up game. And I wish I never would have gone there, but I did. I can proudly say that I am 5 months clean now. From ALL substances. Alcohol, pot, pills, etc. 100% clean. Attending NA meetings on the daily, as well as seeing a therapist. I've been trying to pick up the shattered pieces of my life. It took me 3 years to destroy it, so it will take some time to fix, but I am getting there.

Though, if I had to break a friendship, I'd be creative and leave town. If they followed me, then I'd have to sever my bonds. xd

If the question was how do you delete someone from your friends list then you worded it horribly but I don't think this was.
This was a question about how the person reacted when you deleted them from your friends list.

Trust me; the quickest way to destroy all your relationships, and ostracize yourself from your friends and family, is drug addiction. Doesn't matter what drug. The ****ed up shit your mind tells you to do just to get through another day. It's literal insanity. I did a lot of horrible things. At the time, I didn't feel bad for myself. I would tell myself that it's THEIR faults, and not mine. Now that I've had a bit of time to do some clear thinking, it has literally brought me to tears thinking about things I have done. And I remember something new all the time. Every drug addict goes through the same things. Then you feel even worse for feeling bad about yourself, since it is completely your fault.

I would notice I really enjoy the friends I've made on here some are very unique.

And others are just great to chat with.

If someone is able to add friend they should be able to break it as well if they do not like to be friends anymore with someone.

There maybe plenty of reason to break a friendship. For example, 80% of people send random invitations just to increase their list. Some may be doing so just to stalk a profile since people in your friend list can view more info (depnding upon your settings) and VM you even if your profile is private.

So many people break friendships and put their profile as private to avoid unwanted messages on their profile wall.

Stalker's that's just wrong. Also adding people just because seems wrong as well. Seems like nobody takes getting to know someone serious anymore.
