Why change what works eh? Shadow clones are handy for Naruto, he pretty much mastered a jutsu that was for spying. I am sure though that he can learn more as he grows up, who knows maybe Kurama knows a few jutsus to teach him somehow lol. Imagine it, Kurama Sensei.
