what you're saying is mere speculation he knows its weakness, who's to say he wouldn't stop it? also, your forgetting itachi is very strong with amateratsu, totsuka, and tsukuyomi among others. can you tell me how nagato will counter tsukuyomi? u cant because there isn't enough evidence therefore evrything we say is subjective. im simply stating an opinion, and although i belive them to be an equal match i simply think itachi is slightly stronger though it coulg go either way

Dude stop, itachi needed help to destroy CT. Without bee and naruto he would have been crushed by it. :sy: Also if itachi fought nagato one on one he would of been in the same position that naruto or bee was in. Only reason why he even managed to land a hit is becouse nagato was busy taking on two top tier ninja. And oh btw, nagato could not even WALK. That is the only reason he got hit by the blade. A healthy nagato that can walk is way to powerful for itachi. KISHI put all three of them together to prove that. Itachi has absolutely no counter for CT. Itachi is bad ass and all but no match for a Rinnengan user.

dude answer these questions ... where is nagato now? ,, what did kabuto say after itachi used kotoamatsukumi ? ,, who stopped the edo tensei ? ,, who is the smartest character ?? :shrug:

as of said by someone on this thread,itachi is like batman lol.he is always like 50 moves ahead of his enemies.it is impossible for itachi to be outwitted or defeated.he always have something up his sleeves,so i believe itachi can beat nagato anyday.also, nagato is ONLY strong, he isnt intelligent at all.and when going up against itachi,you must have brains or else you will be defeated without knowing it.

He's a sensor plus he just has to avoid looking at his eyes, how is Itachi going to counter Chibaku Tensei by himself, its not invincible but Itachi doesn't have the power to break it by himself.
