You cannot deny the fact that Kamui is ultra-broken now that Kakashi can use it instantly and with perfect aim.

Still, I see Kakashi being more powerful than Mei even without Kamui.

The fact still remains that he doesn't use it at the beginning of his fights. Depending on the heat of her boil release, he might not even have enough time to use it anyways.

If its in an enclosed space, Mei frankly wins with little difficulty due to Boil Release.

Mei can increase and decrease the heat of her boil release. Theoretically, she could turn it up to a degree making it an instant kill. Therefore, Kakashi wouldn't have time to even react.

I wouldn't say it's her fault, though, Edo Madara is OP.
Still, Kakashi takes it, hands down.
Kakashi is better in ninjutsu, better in genjutsu, better in taijutsu, faster and has Mangekyo.
The only thing that could save Mei is her Kekkei Genkai, which would be a threat to Kakashi only in enclosed space and even then would be avoidable.

If he won't manage to avoid it due to being too close to Mei, he'll kamui the lava.

You're not listening to a word I'm saying. If its in an enclosed space, Kakashi loses. Plain and simple. You're crazy if you think Kakashi will get one move off if Mei uses her Boil Release. Nothing indicates that Kakashi is stronger than Mei or any Kage. Kakashi is the Jounin here and Mei is the Kage. Just saying. You gotta explain what advantages Kakashi has over Mei that is actually proved by the manga.
