I wouldnt be suprised if Madara truly can go back in/reverse time like showed in Naruto generations.

Madara's EMS was circling around which means he used his E/MS ability. The Same thing happened when Itachi activated his MS ability.

Madara v Hashirama fight dragged on like forever. How is this possible when most of their attacks are fatal?

We already know Shodai had incredible selfhealing jutsu like Tsunade, maybe even better. Shodai has a stronger chakra pool than Tsunade, meaning he could sustain this jutsu much longer.

Now how did Madara keep up? I believe he used his time travel to avoid fatal attacks. This could only explain why their fight dragged on for so long.

What you are seeing when his eye rotates is an advanced level of the prediction and tracking skills of the Eternal Mangekyo Sharingan...

Why would he and Hashirama fight countless times with no victor, if Madara could rewind time?
