Whenever somebody posts a thread in the wrong section chances are they're either new or smart .. The reason behind that is nobody wants their thread to go dead or get no replies . So they post threads that should be in chatter box somewhere else(General discussion for example) just to get it seen. And i don't blame them .

We always tell people wrong section like they don't know xd Some may not most of us do Or Chatterbox threads show on latest at least !

I do agree that blocking chatterbox from latest threads has caused people to place threads in the wrong section on purpose. This should be addressed.

A flame section is a terrible idea, a forum should never approve of members talking trash about eachother.. and even though it does happen now you can still report those who talk trash and they'll receive their punishment but if there's a section which allows it the amount of flaming would most definately increase and there's no way people can do anything about it because it would be allowed.

I was just suggesting something to you considering you obviously don't like to be flamed, which your response proved. I know for a fact people don't flame in the premium section. I was just trying to save you the trolls that obviously attacked the thread not to mention schmucks like myself who attempt to be sarcastic over the internet.

You could say that just make it so people can't report in that section and then the mods wouldn't have to worry about it. Eventually they would because it would get out of hand and spill into other sections and even VM and PMs.

I think your title answers your suggestion quite fittingly. How about instead of flaming/fighting/insulting people, you simply don't say anything at all. Is it really that difficult to exercise some self-control by hitting the "report" button and moving on about your business? (That's a rhetorical question btw).

We don't need people fighting on the base, nor do we need to create a section for it. We have a section devoted to off-topic discussion and threads still get made regardless of that fact. You might think it will creates more exposure for the thread, but it only makes it disappear more rapidly. If people didn't write "Wrong Section" 20 times, it probably wouldn't reach the hottest threads anyway. Again, some self-discipline might cure that but you have to consider the fact that the base's demographics show the majority of members aren't mature adults who exercise discretion on a regular basis; instead they are young members who have yet to learn of such things.

Simply put, creating a section for people to break a well-known and well-established rule will not end well. There is no reason why people should be "fighting" on the internet. "Keyboard Warriors" are not warriors at all.

This is like the many requests for a hentai section: Pointless, unnecessary, and not family-friendly.

No worries. Suggestions are here for a reason... So that ideas can be vetted by many different levels. I'll have to research the reasoning behind Chatterbox threads being removed from the Hottest Threads, but I have a feeling it's due to the trolls who posted ridiculous stuff in Chatterbox in order for it to reach the main page. Also, this IS a Naruto Forum, so Chatterbox threads don't really need to be visible on the top of the main page.
