Kinkaku's and Kingaku's relations to Naruto

While I was watching some of the recent anime episodes, I noticed that Kinkaku and Ginkaku have the same lines on their cheeks as Naruto. Naruto had those lines before the sealing of the Kyuubi, and same goes for the G&S brothers. I think its very likely that Naruto has a direct family tree from the SO6P as the G&S brothers had. I think also the SO6P had those lines on his cheeks and as it said the G&S brothers are a direct family tree from him, and I think Naruto is too.

That was an animation mistake I believe

That was only in the anime. The manga said Naruto got it for being a jinchuriki. It makes more sense for the Kin Gin brothers got it for eating the flesh out the Kyuubi. They were never said to be related to SO6P in the manga.

The scene where they had the lines before is anime only and non canon, and naruto has them because he was in the womb of a jinchuriki and so had a direct connection to the kyuubi's chakra since conception. That's also the reason why gaara has the lines around his eyes even though the one tails has been removed.
