i dont think naruto can preform a regular biju dama, i think its only small when its a tbb rasengan other than that his tbb are all spirit bomb size:shrug:

I am sure he could with a bit more practice, do w/e he wants with the Bijuu Dama but he created the spirit bomb size one to make sure Tobi left the dimension completly.

IMO, he can do some between; It is simply using less Chakra...
