The Naruto basic knowledge thread

Sup, iHawk and this is my first thread.

I just got back into the series a few weeks ago, but on the regular series before he went off to training with Jariya. The last episode I saw before I took my break was when Naruto and Sasuke first started fighting in Death Valley. But since I've decided to start catching up, I've been watching season 3 on Netflix and it's pretty cool and stuff.

However, there's a LOOOT I don't know about that I haven't been able to keep up with, so just leave any helpful basic knowlege about Naruto Shippuden here. I don't have cable atm, so I can't watch it and I don't think Shippuden is on Netflix. So yeah, the only thing I know about Shippuden is where Naruto ninja storm 2 left off, where he came back to the village... I don't know anything after that, and I honestly don't know when I'll be able to watch another ep of the Shippuden series, and I'd search up episodes on Youtube, but the most I can find is clips of battles with crappy rock playing in the background.

So the point of this thread is to just leave basic knowledge of Shippuden that might help any other new people getting back into the series like me, so they won't feel so lost. So, happy posting and here's a thanks in advance for your contribution

But for starters, I only have 1 question; how did Sasuke know Suigetsu first meet? They seemed familiar with each other in the scene they had met in storm 2, and he (Suigetsu) is my favorite character. My only second question is who or what are these So6P things (or something like that)?

These pirates and digital monsters eventually held a dark tournement where a guy with a yoyo, and a guy with a fishing pole kicked there asses until a wolf man came and saved them. Its like SPOILER info, but you asked for it xd.

Suigetsu was being held captive and probably experimented on, in the hideout, by orochimaru and kabuto. Sasuke lived in that hideout and thats how they met.

SO6P is sage of the six paths.
Its a character that defeated the 10tailed beast the juubi and sealed him.

I dont think i should summarize shipuuden until now.
That would just be spoiling to much.

well a basic overview of the story is that after naruto came back to the village, he fought akatsuki members like deidara in order to save gaara.firstly when naruto went to save gaara, him and his team was intercepted by a fake itachi and team guy got intercepted by a fake kisame which is itachis partner. gaara got the bijuu taken out of him and died but got revived. naruto fought orochimaru using the kyuubis power and after that he reunited with sasuke and lost miserably even with backup. he then learned to use rasenshuriken and beat kakuzu an akatsuki member who is immortal. he has 5 hearts and you have to kill him 5 times. his partner hidan is immortal as well and if he ingests your blood, he can draw a symbol on the ground and if he is standing on the symbol, he can stab himself and the damage goes back to you. he got killed by shikamaru. after that sasuke fought deidara and deidara commited suicide by blowing himself up and his partner tobi (aka the masked man in disguise) helped. jiraiya then fought pain, an akatsuki member with the rinnegan which is the strongest dojutsu and lost. he got killed. the pain bodies are just puppets controlled by nagato. pain stated that jiraiya would beat him with knowledge. after this sasuke fought itachi and itachi let sasuke win because he was actually a good guy in disguise and loved sasuke all along. tobi tells sasuke this and he awakens the power of the mangekyou sharingan. sasuke and taka which is his team goes to capture bee who is the jinchuriki of the 8 tailed beast and nearly dies a few times but manages to capture bee. it is later revealed that bee split off of an octopus tentacle and snuck off to go on vacation. after this naruto fights pain after pain destroys the village searching for naruto as he is a part of the akatsuki. this is after naruto trains again and learns sage mode. naruto gets pinned down by pain but hinata(a person that loves naruto) comes out and tries to protect him but gets fodderized. this anger naruto and he taps into the kyuubis power. naruto goes on a rampage and starts getting the upperhand on pain but he uses chibaku tensei. after this naruto almost takes off the seal but his father, the fourth hokage minato appears inside naruto and reassures him and reignites his will of fire. after this naruto beats pain. then naruto goes and talks to nagato who was controlling pain and he convinces him to revive the people in konoha and nagato puts his hope in naruto that he will bring peace. at the kage summit sasuke comes with some new abilities and takes on the kages while searching for danzo as he turned itachi into a bad guy. i dont feel like typing anymore so i will leave it at that.

I was in your same situation before so basically read all the manga to skip fillers, but if you dont mind fillers then you can watch it on the anime section on this site.

there are 9 tailed beasts , each with a number of tails counting up to 9 gaara has the one tails and naruto the 9 there are 7 other tailed beasts and people with beasts sealed inside are called jinchuriki that should help....also you will see that the characters have gotten stronger......and some good battles
